Just curious but why do you believe Bill Parcells should be a slam dunk hall of fame candidate?

Jivaro covered about everything I would say in reply save for one point.

He did win 2 super bowls but let's be real, one of those was pure luck.

Let's be really real. To get the chance to play in the Super Bowl that season the Giants had to beat the heavily favored 49ers in the title game. That's the backup QB-led Giants versus the Joe Montana-led back-to-back defending Super Bowl champs. On the road.

Then the Giants beat the heavily favored Bills in the Super Bowl. And how did they manage that? By Bill Parcells flat-out out-coaching Marv Levy, and there aren't many who saw that game who would deny it. Out-coaching the opposition in the biggest game of the year? To belittle that as not being a valid argument for him being a Hall of Fame shoe-in is missing the point entirely: It should be the first thing you mention when listing his qualifications.

Its a shame you didnt see bees. Apparently they are dying off by the billions...

Oh I did see bees as well. I know there is a serious concern about colony collapse, but it's not very evident from our yard, as we have honeybees, carpenter bees, and bumblebees along with paper wasps and yellow jackets. I just had never noticed this variety of wasp before, so I wanted to investigate to see how aggressive they are.

Well, well, well. So the MechWarrior "community" is being asked for their input in order to help "fix" the game. How desperate must you be to have a town hall to get ideas?

This would be like the Diablo3 creators holding a town hall on how to fix their game. Answer: you can't. The basic design premise (in the case of Diablo3: RMAH, in the case of MWO: Multi only, microtrans) has limited your ability to make a fun game. Your design is based on balancing fun versus money... and the balance sucks. The only way to fix it is through reducing the money side so that the fun side is larger... and no company on the planet is going to lower the MONEY side (especially when they are already hurting).

I wanted to like MWO... I really did. But what I (and I believe most other MW fans) wanted was a single player game with a good story, and decent multiplayer SECOND! Not a multiplayer only grindfest... Is MWO willing to go that far (the answer is obviously no...)?

If my understanding is correct, no one asked the community for this feedback, the community is asking that their voices be heard.

I don't understand why people even bother reporting Non-GAAP.....just lying to yourself and shareholders.....because if you are a WD Shareholder, you WILL NOT GET 8.53 per share!

I wonder if they could get away with this if they had to spell out GAAP. Multiplying everything by 10 is likewise not a generally accepted accounting principle, so does that mean they could also claim Non-GAAP income of $21 billion?

That's actually not true. Germany does not have an anti-corruption law (ie, corruption is literally not illegal). It's been slammed for that time and time again by the EU and by several political parties. We are the only country in the EU without one.

Why do you think EX-Chancellor Kohl is not in jail? There is proof that he accepted bribes, turns out that's not illegal in Germany.

INAL, but this sounded odd, and a quick Google turned up results suggesting this is not the case, here's an example .

Quote:

Unsurprisingly, corruption is a criminal offense in Germany. German public officials may not accept gifts or rewards. Germany, in fact, has enacted numerous laws and international treaties to combat active and passive bribery. (Generally, “active bribery” refers to offering or paying a bribe, while “passive bribery” refers to receiving a bribe.) In contrast to the United States’ Foreign Corrupt Practices
Act (FCPA), which does not outlaw the receipt of a bribe, German law specifies that accepting or granting an advantage and offering or receiving a bribe are all punishable.

XKCD's mouse over text sums up Fight Club pretty well IMHO. I was blown away by the slick style and vaguely Anonymous style anarchy. Now, it seems rather silly and has plot holes large enough to host underground boxing matches in.

Wow, is it that bad? I have intentionally not watched it in years, wanting to maximize the impact of seeing it again, but now I'm worried I will be similarly disappointed. I guess my next viewing will be soon so I can know, and I can specifically see if I can find a satisfactory answer to your questions while I'm at it.

Did you wrap the baby backs in foil for half the last 3 hours? We did this just recently and the ribs were super moist!
thanks
MEAHT

Just of the last hour, but they came out pretty moist anyway. I didn't do like the competition BBQers and throw butter and brown sugar in there, just wrapped them.

The better question is, since when did a cell phone become something that you must have sitting next to your bed when you sleep?

When you use it as an alarm clock.

I think for all his objecting, he did, which is why he was hanging around with those people rather than trying to depart the scene.

We've not had a 7/11 here in decades...no slurpees...

I grew up in Brooklyn, where there we none to be found. I remember being jealous visiting friends on Long Island (weird New York thing there: no one says "in Long Island" the way you would say "in Manhattan") when I saw my first big gulp. But there's one near here, and I have to say, the once or twice we've had Slurpees on really hot days justifies that jealousy. I'm surprised I haven't tried this more considering how favorably I recall the experience.
