er. mouse/keyboards aside, is it better to use a joystick to play battlefield instead of gamepads? i thought joysticks were ONLY used nowadays for flight sims and old atari roms, what else can they be good for?

audophiles like myself however need the best possible sound evar.
having the best possible sound is not important; you shouldn't be having sex with underage audio files in the first place.

half elf, they have lesbian/gay friendly positions in their policies, surely you would embrace such companies by your mouth with good ratings to make them on top? and although they are big, wouldn't you lap up what they have to offer if they come in a deep financial hole, even if they can be an ass sometimes?

that news report reminded me, it was hard to believe that the basket ball rick roll was a hoax, it was done very well. i don't think that the part that it was fake was dugg very well after the initial news:

but i had problems with the steam's system tray before, but maybe because i was using fluxbox. the main applications was were working.
many games individually requires some setting up from instructions on the internet to have a decent framerate or to work at all, they should make an official front end for these things. but most seem to work fine in the end.

2. Intel Core 2 Processor Performance Compa Mar 17, 2008, 00:41 rocketpcguy

i don't understand why any gamer would want to get the fastest processors. according to the benchmarks, they are fine with a cheap E6600 ($250), and upgrading to the fastest most expensive quad core ($1300) will only give you 4 fps extra. not worth the $1000 i think.
if you spent that money on another/faster GFX card, you can get a much more noticeable improvement.

News Comments > Sweeney: PCs Good for Anything... But Games
24. No subject Mar 11, 2008, 02:15 rocketpcguy

Sweeney: I really don't know why they kept the 32-bit version of Vista. I was surprised when they decided to keep the 32-bit version, I expected that they would push the 64-bit version exclusively. It would have been the perfect time for that.

with xp being discontinued, people would be FORCED to buy newer processors if they want to use windows? even if they have a 3.6GHz P4. think people will like that? think microsoft will like that? does he have any business sense whatsoever?

Let's be clear with it. The switch to exclusively 64-bit would clean up all the legacy viruses and spyware programs that have been plaguing us for years.

so spyware programs will suddenly stop working if it's on 64-bit? but anything that doesn't spy on users will continue to function magically?
