Pffbt. I still use a 5:4 19" LCD monitor at 1280x1024 pixels resolution at home with VGA (blame it on my Y2K KVM) and DVI (to avoid stretching on low resolutions like demos). |

It just feels like a waste paying $900+ when you almost never get double the performance. In many cases, you don't even get 70% more performance. Then you have all the games that either don't support SLI/Crossfire at all or run worse when it's enabled. It's just not worth the hassle. I'll never go SLI/Crossfire. Too many bugs with it and the tech advances so fast a new single card in the near future will overpower your two older cards. Ditto. Too much heat and power as well. If I had two same cards, then I would keep the second one as a backup or put in another computer. |

Verno wrote on Oct 23, 2012, 10:02: I just blocked their hosts manually - rad.msn.com and etc. There was several I had to filter out, I basically just got the list by booting my 360 and watched a traffic log while it pulled ads for the interface. Then I played around a bit to make sure I wasn't filtering legitimate stuff. Took about 15 mins. I'm sure someone else has put together a comprehensive list at this point, I sold my 360 so I deleted the entries on the router otherwise I'd post them all Ah, that would be great to have. I wonder if HPhosts have those blocked already. I don't own a video game console. |

Then I got annoyed and sold my Xbox since Microsoft no longer cares about making exclusive, interesting games. How did you block their ad servers? Hostnames/IP addresses? |

That could be a HUGE revenue stream for MS, and might be the real reason they are forcing Metro on us. Oh man Adbox 360 is really amusing, I am totally using that in the future, thanks LOL. We need an AdBLOCK for it. [grin] |

5JKBB-RKTHZ-RTJBT-BT33J-WJRWW What game is this and where do we use it? BL2=Borderlands 2. And head of gearbox is giving out shift codes (for extra golden keys) like candy these past few days over twitter. They rarely last more than an hour or two though.
Best to keep an eye on the twitter if you want them. http://twitter.com/DuvalMagic Thanks. So where are these keys used? Steam? Run borderlands 2. Goto EXTRAS in menu. Then goto SHIFT CODES, paste it in and it will tell you you have a new golden key... Oh, I thought this was to get a free BL2 game. Bah. |

Has Obama actually kept any of his promises? Or does that only apply to republicans? It's ok for dems to lie, or not follow through on things, just not republicans? Is that how it goes in liberal magical fantasy world? Has any Presidents kept their promises? Sadly most don't. Can't disagree there. Obviously I'm bias being a fiscal conservative, so that automatically makes me not able to vote for democrats, not that I generally like the republican choice either. Like I've said, I'm far far far from a Mittens fan. It's like voting for the lesser of two evils. Ah, for me. I just don't bother. |
