You've got him wrong Teddy

I think you will find he means fans in the wind tunnel that they use for testing all their ferrari's and John's rockets.

God, can't you just use some common sense?

That South African guy (Oscar Pistorius) who lost his legs and now runs on those carbon fiber replacements (sometimes called Bladerunner) has been put forward to run in the full Olympics by S.A. I heard on the radio. (edit - still has to qualify)

If someone was to claim to be a member of the Nazi party, could they then sue everyone who has used the Nazis in their films, television and computer games.

They would just need a good Jewish lawyer and they would be set for life! Cheesy Deal Evilgrin

Apparently you can, as long as the product you're using it as a trademark for isn't related to the common use of the word. Apple is a trademark, but only because Apple and their products have absolutely no relation at all to fruit or food in general.

And then Apple made the i-pod which plays music and the Beatles came along and got in a legal fight with them because the Beatles own record company "Apple Corp" was already using the word Apple in the music industry (as trademarked) - I'm not sure what happened, Think Steve Jobs Apple paid out in the end?

It could just as easy be a down turn in the whole MMO game space, not just WoW only (it can be said that in many ways WoW is the MMO game space)

That normal ASeven, any subsciption base sevice has what is refferd to as 'Churn' (some customers leaving, some rejoining) so by say 900k what do you mean?

Are you saying total subs are down by 900k?

WoW is and oldish game, it is going to die down over time, it maybe past it's peak but I think it will still be around for many years to come (5-8 at lest)

Console gamepads can't handle rapid weapon cycling,

Yes they can, they just choose not too. (to keep the controls simple for non hardcore players)

Why do you think a controller could not handle weapon cycling?

Pre-ordering games is for rubes unless you played the beta and/or you know you are going to buy it anyway so you might as well get the extras.

Ok, if anyone else has that problem, if you goto the steam folder and find the file"steamnew", just rename to "steam" (you may have to delete steam.exe first)

It then updated fine for me.

Well, to me, it would seem that there are enough people here who did enjoy it to make me wonder how it only sold 300k in first month, I too wonder how many copies it as sold total to date.

Like it or not (the game) that 300k seem low for a game with that much press before hand. What would you put that down to Jerykk? Just the price point?

And by that I mean, give it great production values, make sure the gameplay is great, give it a good length, don't skimp corners, etc.

And you get Duke Nukem Forever (well, you can try it in a few days)

Have more people posted in this Op Ed than his games have sales?

What I've seen/played (demo) of his games, they are only just around the same level as some flash games I have seen.

Notch for the win.
