It's not just me who noticed, the lawyers where right amongst the greed and capitalism long before the doctor slapped this baby, and I think they will keep using their 'magic lawyer powers' to keep it tucked up nicely in bed next to them for a long time to come. |

Legally rights or not, there's ethically right and wrong. When you've got people who are literally giving you years of their only life in order to produce the best selling piece of entertainment across all forms of media...pay them fucking royalties. I don't care if they have huge egos, are giant assholes, no longer work at the company, called your mother a whore, planned to jump ship and form their own studio with a competing publisher...it doesn't matter. You made a metric fuckton of cash off of their hard work, ideas, and creative vision and any human being with a soul would know that they deserve a fair percentage of that money. So you are saying that the work Activision done in marketing the game had no part in it , you're implying that the game was super fantastic and that the programmers/artist/sound/desgin guys should all be given a life times amount of money each?? Is that what you are meaning? |

I COULD have drove to the store and bought a shiny new copy with a nice crisp manual, stopped at BK, stopped at the smoke shop for some cigs, got home, ate, installed the game, and be playing by now. So why did you not drive to the store then? |

BobBob - This site will start to lose a lot of journalistic integrity if it allows itself to be bullied into post removals and censorship.
Blue - Well it's a good thing that's not what happened then, huh? Maybe what should of happened then is that KXmode should have edited his own post to remove the infomation and leave a edited explaining why.
As BobBob views it, this was a touch upon the sites journalistic integrity, with it seaming like Blue removing the post due to Dsmart being a dick with his god of all, do as I say complex in full effect, which I think Blue has just added too.
In saying that, this has still been handle fine, its just that Dsmart is involded so the poo always raises to the top.
And I completely agree with Overon about Dsmart contradicting himself. I'd say that why he needs a team of lawyers. |

| I'd rather see this done in a 3rd person, sand box type engine like GTA or JC2 with destuctable buildings. To me it always felt like you where meant to feel like you where controlling some agent as apposed to a FPS veiw which make you more the agent. |

All this bitching about friends calling your phone in GTA .... if you go into the phone menu/options you can put the phone in some mode (sleep) where you only recive 'storyline*' phone calls (there are points where this can lead you into a dead end thought/it works poorly) and not all the other stuff people here have been complaning about.
Also once someone has become your 'friend i.e. Jacob and Guns, I have never seen that friend become unfriended
Been that way since day one, but hey, go ahead and complain about bad game design even when its optonal. (like me and spellchecker )

Longswd wrote on Mar 4, 2010, 15:58: I just did my part and put up a negative Amazon review, hopefully it will be allowed to go through (I wasn't crude about it, but I was fairly scathing). Sweet, so what did you write? Was the gameplay any good? How much did you have to pay for it? How accerate are the system requirement? Is/how is multi player?
I'm keen to know, alot of people have gone on about how they would have brought this because the Silent Hunter games are cool but they are raging against the DRM. I don't care about the DRM and it sounds like it might be a fun game - I played Microprose Silent Servce back in the day. |

Hey, ochentay4, that's great, glad you wish to stick it to the man but maybe you could do it else where due to Blue having only a few rules around here -
Forum Rules
1. Disagree all you want but attacks of a personal nature will not be tolerated. 2. Ethnic slurs and homophobic language will not be tolerated. 3. Do not post spam, links to warez sites, or instructions on how to obtain pirated software. 4. Abusing the forums in any manner that could be construed as 'griefing' will not be tolerated. |

Dorma - why are you promoting piracy? - I don't think you needed to post the name of the file to prove you point, all you have done is help those who wish to grab the pirated copy - which is the reason (or at lest one of the reasons rolled out by publishers) why we have all this DRM shit in the first place.
To me, you have gone and broken rule 3 of the forums rules. |

This is the first racing car game I've really gotten into since the original Colin McCrea games (this is same company), great racing fun, good single player mode, very nice style to the music/presation.
I brought a Logitech wheel just to play this game, and I think it's well priced on steam.
It's a thumb up for the Kosumo! (oh the fun of third person reffences to ones self) |

My 1000th post, and in a Civ thread, me so HAPPY
On topic - in the Spearmen vs AH64 battle, that win by the Spearmen could be due to the weather as well, and also as is represented unit by the unit not being able to capture the city, air control does not most of the time lead to total control and victory of the ground. Does not the AH64 get bonus against tanks anyway showing that their design is not waste spearman (hey, most most most of the time the gunship cleans them out anyway)
Civilization V - I can't wait |
