Good thread tone so far, keep it up.
I'd like to add that the range of home PC now that do have reasonable graphics process (vs current console, unlike when intel where doing their very shitty onboard chips) is a good sign for the PC as well. |

technically there's 29 missions, but you can only play 26 of them in a single playthrough...there's 3 points where you have to make a choice as to which way a mission goes down Thats 28 not 29 then, if there are 3 options on one of the 26 missions. |

ShadyPete, if you, Steam and Stardock where floating there, in the water fulled crater, I'd most surely turn up in a German U-boat and machine-gun to death Stardock ...... you and Steam may get a life raft if you're lucky.

Like how Pure Pwnage TV show had Canada tax money in it; yet I've seen it here in Aotearoa for free, thanks Canada (off of the internet, anit been on the television here yet)
edit, had Lord Of the Rings failed, it was the New Zealand tax breaks that where to take the lost, then when it was very sucsesful, New Line tried to Hollywood account their way out of paying due royalty (may still be in court?)

Is this not an update to the DRM that makes you match your real life location to a google earth location just to be able to log into the start menu?
No?
Fuck this then. |

Over crying yet??
Every time there is a new patch for TF2 there is some level of downtime for everyone, boohoo. Most of the time it take several hours for the dedicated severs to get patched up.
Sounds like you just needed a big cry, that or you should stop buying Valve/steam software so it can never happen to you again since it was so bad. |

I found it over-dramaticized, just like the war on terror.
I'm off to the Commonwealth Games in India later this year and the amount of "do you think we will be safe" form co workers and others amazed me, I responded with "I'm in more danger get drunk in my home town".
Unfortunley, the other night a 70 year old was killed by a 13 year old, 14 year old and 17 year old in town (the night of a big sporting event).
The War on Terror is nothing but a power grabbing scam!
Sorry to get off topic. |

Well, I have not brought any of there product since Diablo 2 so I'm not giving up nothing and If I did wish to play Starcraft 2, I still don't HAVE to give them my name, but hey, if you want feel all hurt about it, go for your life.
pff - "give up things" yeah, cos if you can't play the games you want the way you want, well you've given up things. |

I feel sorry for anyone who feels that gaming may have a effect on their employment - if that happened in anyway which you could prove, you most likely could sue your way to never doing anything but gaming again.
I see this has a positive for Blizzard in that they are moving with the times. If they just made a PC game (Starcraft 2) and released it with just a CD check and LAN play ...... well I don't see that making them the kind of money that WoW does so why would they do it?
You guys do understand that Blizzard is most likely expected to make more money each year than the last, to grow.
All this is doing is moving them forward and maybe appealing to a market that is not Bluenews.
I'm sure that they plan for 5-8 years down the track not just for the here and now. And their are plenty of people who would be happy to game in a enviroment without anonymous players. And happy to pay for that. |
