Hilarious though they may be, I have to wonder what the point of these tricks is
Well I'd say it's an attempt to protect the value of their product. Weather its worked well or not is another story.
Some people have a really problem with people using software that they have made, without the user paying for the work that has gone into making the product.
You know, it's pretty logical really.  |

I feel that the loading screen are there because some of the levels start in a slightly diffent place than the last finished unlike in portal 1 where it done that 'frosted glass' loading thing. (not always but it dose happen)

| Up to chapter 6, my only minor whinge is I do not find that the voice of "Whelly" (the blue sphare thing) fits - it's to human, I would have like to have it with a little fx on it. |

This is as close to a victimless moneymaking scam as you can get, but it doesn't make it any less of a scam.
That's your opinion, not fact.
Now it's your faith in them that they scammed you out of. So what are they scamming off those who did buy the pack of games? If they brought the pack and enjoyed their games and the ARG effects, are they un-scammed then?

My guess at the plot of Portal 2 follows in -
I'm making the call that GLADOS is based off of Chell brain which is why why they are testing. The guy from the comic is so in love with Chell and also working on make GLADOS which is why they are so connected.
GLADOS makes Atlas and P-body to try and gain an advantage over Chell because Chell and GLADOS think so alike/the same.
That's my bet. |
