Whether or not it sucked, Kotor is not an example of a third person game like Jedi, Max, or Heretic 2. Kotor is a point and click RPG, not an action game.

Why don't they just make it downloadable? And hey, didn't we see this movie before? With Nick Cage?
Spoiler
The part with the empty intersection is pretty brilliant though.

Ethical DVD players |

The article claims that all DVD players are made in China, a claim I find difficult to believe, but, that would make it hard to buy DVD players built in a country with better labour laws.

What I want to know is.... |

...with all the flack over GTA, how much driving and gunning will this game have in comparison? Will we be able to zip through the city in some nifty vehicles, using a half decent set of physics and an in-car view while sniping at baddies (improving on GTA), or, will this be a neutered version, to appease the New York Post reading crowd? Further, and completely unrelated, will this game look and run well on a PC or will it be another half-assed console port?

I had the same thought, then I figured that if you could plug it into your computer without using an amplifier, you could save the cost of buying an amp in the first place. However, anyone who would buy this guitar would probably still want to get the sound associated with a more traditional setup. Therefore, it would be better to use your original guitar and plug it in to your 'puter the hard way. The popularity of the Les Paul is all about its original tone and style, which is why other manufacturers have been copying it for so long.

No workee for me. Perhaps NYtimes has finally gotten a clue about it? Setting up a personal dummy account is pretty easy anyways. Asif@asif.com is used btw.

I agree that Ion Storm worships cash, but perhaps if they were to listen to the people signing this petition they would sell more copies of Thief 3, hence more money. I have no idea how well DX: IW is selling, but if they want to sell me a copy of Thief 3 they had better differentiate it from that turd.

I saw some first person in the video. The thing I'm most concerned about is the gameplay, and I don't really see anything there that stands out. Also, the graphics are less than stellar.

Force Feedback |

This game is supposed to be superior to CMR3. You can drive different cars in the championship and there's a "ghost car" function so you're not just racing the clock. It sounds excellent, and almost made me go buy an Xbox (with Crimson Skies). I found the force feedback in CMR3 really lame though, more like rumble effects in my opinion. If they could give us something more like Live For Speed or F1 2002 I'd be very happy.
