There's no 'spot on's here, Scottish. 95% of what's being said is a matter of opinion. I thought both the original Half-Life and Quake were downright poor fps experiences. You don't like Q4, that's fine... but some do. Get over the fact, and learn how not to be baffled when the entire world doesn't line up with your feelings on a game.
Anyway, nice to hear the nailgun gets an upgrade.

That demo was fairly enjoyable... much more so on a higher difficulty than medium. It's obviously not a perfect game (the nailgun seems kinda... useless) but many of the complaints about it seem like typical hardcore gamer whining to me.

I've heard of many more people who really enjoyed the game, so... bit of a shame all the servers are so slow. Ah well.

Cellsquads is a small download, and it's a real 'love it or hate it' type of game. The best way to see if it's your type of game is to dive right in a give it a go. Just so you know though- it's plain action game, with an often quirky (very indie) storyline, told through emails. It's a simple pick up and play style game, but the battle tactics are deceptively deep.

Most people haven't heard of Cellsquads. It's an indie game, so getting the word out is quite a task.
However, the Infinite Space guys seem to be doing well on the advertising front....
