News Comments > Diablo III Patched
47. Re: Diablo III Patched Jun 2, 2012, 00:29 Reactor

Does the patch address the 3007 errors that boot us off the game every 15-20 minutes?

They tried in the last patch by getting everyone to join general chat by default. It actually worked for me, but then I had also just done this-

http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/5149007206?page=47#921

I have no idea which one stopped the 3007 errors.

btw there is an update to ERROR:3007 status...

D3 now moves you into general chat by default. PROBLEM SOLVED! roflolmao!

(still not fixed...)

Sad to hear it. I guess one day the game will work.

I get 3007 dropouts every few minutes while playing (with the solution that I should basically retool every networking setting Windows has to offer), and have also run into US server maintenance in Australia at the exact time everyone here would normally be looking to play the game. 85% of the time I try and play, I either can't connect, or get booted back to the menu screen.

It's sad Blizzard have soiled a great game with this kind of crap.

Yeah, the Error 37 was annoying and unacceptable but the game is pretty fun. I think it captures the feel of the first Diablo. I have a level 15 wizard and I just finished Act 1 last nite. I'm diggin' it.

Same, I'm enjoying it too (despite some art direction reservations at times) but getting kicked from the server randomly is getting old, fast. I really wish the game wasn't an online one pretending to be a singleplayer game.

Error 37 is so yesterday. It's all about constantly being kicked out of the game with error 3007, now.

The trouble with Google is that everyone is trying to game the system for commercial purposes now.

I agree, but at least most of the links google gives me are ones I'm happy with. Whenever I try Bing (and can stand how ugly it looks) the links I get seem like they belong to another search.

Maybe things have improved, but it'd hardly be my search engine of choice.

Bing actually gives me more relevant results while Google conspicuously continues to link to nonsense aggregation sites.

Really? I find Google to be spot on, while Bing's searches always turn out to be useless.

Not that I play MMOs, but... I don't know... it looks okay to me.

I just finished P2... and loved it. The story is just great

As for the puzzles, there were only a couple that had me scratching my head. The ah-ha moments throughout though were brilliant.

I think the Uncharted series has the right balance, as well as the right quality. Nothing is uncanny valley, and both the mocap and hand animating work well together.

I never understood why games with dungeons never made they actually dark where you needed a torch etc.. to see. It adds so much to the suspense.

There was an Oblivion mod that did this- every light source was a real one. To say it made dungeons frightening was an understatement.

Amiga 500, the way it was meant to be played circa 1993.

Or an Amiga 1000...

I'm personally not asking about how ram is used. I'm asking if this texture pack will fail to run if 1gb of vid card ram isn't present.

The stock GTX260 only has just under 900mb of ram, so I'd love to know if it can handle it at all.

I don't mind the UI. It's a little inconsistent in places (as are a number of other things in the game) but overall I find it decent.

The keyboard navigation in the skills view is quite poor, however. That needs some serious tweaking.

The more I hear about D3 the less I want to own it. Why can't we just have a fun game that works without the use of the 'net and doesn't need RMT additives every two seconds? I'm missing those kinds of games more and more.

I picked up Guerilla the other day for $5. Talk about a great game. I'm sure Armageddon is a solid game, but the open-ended nature of Guerilla really adds to the enjoyment of it.

I'm not a fan of crude games, but I am a fan of good, free soundtracks. I'm glad they released it.
