Indeed... I just love all the whining about a game people have been predicting will suck. All of a sudden the Aussie authorities are bastards and Fallout 3 is GOTY.

Yeah, it's horrible here, with the great lifestyle and economy we're all focred to enjoy. How dare they ruin the lives of many by stopping an as yet unreviewed 3D game from being released.

There are lots of other hack and slash games, but for whatever reason, the combination of sound and artwork which create an atmospheric world has always set it apart. Add to that the fun of collecting (truly) freakishly rare treasures, and there's something kinda special about Diablo which many gamers have been entertained by time and time again.
It really doesn't matter who developed the original. The formula has been set in place, Blizzard's sticking to it, and that's why I'm looking forward to being entertained again.

What are they going to do with 6 gigs of hard drive space? Maybe that's for installation only. Honestly, aside from lazy development, I have no idea how developers can suck up as much space as they do these days... aside from the times when they pack a DVD full of fmv.

can you imagine if they treated ALL customers like criminals, just because people have shoplifted there? If most of the people who entered the shop stole something, could you blame them?
*puts ear to the ground*
What's that? Oh... it's just the piracy defenders club coming to debunk what I've just said.

I love Nvidia products, but that is a load of drivel.
...we're going to see more of an approach that says that PC games aren't products - they're a service. So all the legit people have to pay for a rubbish service while the pirates do as usual and take whatever they want? Thank goodness for indie games as products, is all I'll say.

I tried the demo.
After driving down the highway the wrong way and smashing into about twenty cars, doing a head-on with another bus, driving at full speed up and down hills in an attempt to flip my bus onto its side, skidding out of control and getting my bus stuck on top of another car (passengers screaming all the way) I have to say- this game is sure to have Jack Thompson up in arms.
At negative 5000 points, I'd sure had fun.
