They carefully gauged the needs of their customers and determined through a mathematical formula that on average, a user only installs one of their games 0.19385 times. They then doubled this figure because they care about the customer. LOL

Try getting into a battle with a huge amount of guys, where you're totally outnumbered and your skill with your weapon is the only thing that'll see you through. Also, make sure you play it on the difficulty where it automatically saves. If you lose the battle you'll wind up with nothing, in the gutters. If you win, there's a ton of glory for you and your men.
That'll get you into it

Aside from the bit on page 3 which says,
"Note: copy protection on this game only allows three installations per disk."

I'm not sure why these guys don't just do what other indies are doing, and get on with the process of making something and selling it. Indie game dev is all about developing (at least at the start) with almost zero funds and time. Props to them for finishing something all those years ago, but now it's time to replace the talking with actual action.

They should find the tallest building they can, then jump the fuck off it. LOL
You realize that people have different definitions of "fun," right? That's an amazing revelation. I wonder how many people whining realise that? Right now discussion about Spore is a big hardcore gamer crybaby affair because it's not the game they imagined it'd be. As for what it is- it's quite cool. But hey, let's all have a whine because it's not something it's not.
Most of the complanits people have about Spore are due to their own unrealistic expectations on the game.

Talk about the usual Blue's whiners club. You guys will complain about anything. Just take the game as it is and you might find yourself having some fun instead of whining like a pack of grumpy old women in a nursing home. The idea of a game being allowed to be what it is (simple, repetitive, whatever) and still remain fun just doesn't seem like a concept gamers can grasp these days (amongst other things).

Grabbed a copy, and it's a riot. I guess someone could say the gameplay is shallow and repetitive, but so is the gameplay from many other classics. The bottom line is, the game has a huge amount of character and is seriously entertaining.

This trailer makes the game look a lot better than the E3 gameplay footage did. Not amazing, but better.
From what I've seen so far though, it really doesn't deserve the Fallout 3 title.

No demo? No problem. No fucking demo, no fucking sale, simple as that. Agreed. I'm amazed these developers think this is a good reason for not having a demo!
EDIT: I should add, indie developers have worked out you can (and here comes the bombshell) limit a demo by time. Amazing, I know.
