Delta Force: Black Hawk Down by NovaLogic imho has the BEST online sniper deathmatch. I thought DF2 did, personally. Hiding amongst the voxels was just great fun. |

DVD playback out of box. Oh boy, it was SO HARD to load my favorite media player. True, not much can replace Zoom Player for me. However, although XP does have Media Center (well, sort of) a decent version of Vista has an improved Media Center, which out of all the PVR software I've used is certainly one of the best around (if not the best).
It's a bit of a cherry on top of Vista, but it's worth noting. |

False, XP can kill unresponsive apps from the task manager if and when they happen. After about four years of waiting, sure. Process Explorer is the only real way to kill an app under XP, and a lot of (DRM'd) games clash with it. But... task manager? Yeesh.
VLC player for XP free of Windows Media Player and free period. Yes, and it's also ugly as all heck, clunky, and hardly plays anything back.
XP + window blinds + object dock + dreamscapes is a better looking, faster performing and more compatible OS than Vista and 100% less annoying, unlike you Go on, tell us. You've just turned 10, haven't you? |

| It's all about the goodness of the uninstall dialogue. I love XP, but uninstalling programs is just a chore. Under Vista, it's actually somewhat enjoyable. |

Every time I want to remind myself why Vista is better than XP, I go and uninstall a program.
That was worth the upgrade cost alone. |

This is illustrated by the fact that while people who stuck with Vista now like it, while those who tried it and quit have been turned off from ever trying it again. With that I completely agree. If that's what you meant by what you said, no worries. |

It has nothing to do with never actually changing from something, dumbass. No, you're the dumbass. That's not what I was talking about. Good job defending the point no one was attacking. Anyway, on with the thread... |

For those saying that Vista is good, you have to remember that you only get one try at making a first impression, and that impression sticks with you forever. OH MY GOODNESS! FOREVER!?
Seriously, that is one brainless statement. If impressions stay with you forever, put your computer in the bin and forget being a software user. |
