Also, I'm liking STALKER Complete 2009. It's a complete overhaul of SoC but it doesn't seem to make the horrendously out of place changes that many other mods do.
Awesome! Thanks for mentioning that. I really couldn't get into Stalker- it was just so dated in many ways. This mod has me loving it. |

...the fact that a major feature has been implemented roughly a month from release doesn't sound too good...
It's only major if it was high on their priority list. If the engine was set up to impliment it at a late stage without much hassle, then it's not necessarily a bad thing to have it take place so late in development. |

While everyone was whining about frogs, I enjoyed Daikatana. Of course, it has aged incredibly badly and is simply horrible to look at today, but... it was fun for a while. Coop was hillarious.
At least Duke has aged well. |

Come on you bunch of whiners, you have to admit the whole Duke fiasco was pretty entertaining. Of course the game would be terrible after 10+ years of development, but the thought of it actually arriving in some form or another was more entertaining than a lot of games being made these days.
I for one am a tad sad they're closing. But, ah well, I guess I'll just have to drown my tears with a GOG copy of Duke, with addons I've never got around to playing. |

I think I'd like to see Duke Nukem Forever go to Rockstar. I can't think of another dev that would deliver a better DNF.

| I saw a couple of small bugs, but nothing disasterous. I have heard of people hitting some big issues, but in general the game has been a lot more solid than... say, Fallout 3. |
