As long as you 'play along' and pretend your really there. If you play it like a 'video game' you can probably do it in an hour lol

Its not happening, why bother when this rakes in the $$. Valve has gotten very fat, and very lazy.

They had billions of stars on the Spectrum 48k They WILL have planetary landings/citys to explore down the line, this is only the start. There is no story..you do whatever you want.

Cutter wrote on Jun 11, 2014, 13:18:
So what he's saying is there are billyuns and billyuns of stars?

Kidding aside, what about - ongoing - story development? Once you get past the initial gee whiz factor I get bored if it's all just fighting or trading with no player/npc interaction and story. So what's the point in going to 400 billion systems devoid of life if all you're doing is mining, fighting pirates and docking at a station over and over and over?

I think this is why I'm holding out hope more for No Man's Sky.

A10s hardly new technology and its mostly public knowledge. I imagine the F35 has tons of computer controlled sensitive information about its capabilities they would not want the Russians especially to know about

Then you'd be in jail, its classified.

I want to see them make an F35 sim that's accurate down to the engine start protocols.

They're Russian Devs, I doubt they would give a crap about it being classified. That would just make it even better since everything is so hush hush with the F35.

Its not absurd, they spent a tremendous amount of time for accuracy and fidelity on these sims and your complaining about it. I really don't know what your other options are but take it or leave it. World Of Warplanes awaits you..

These are study sims so highly accurate, if its not your cup of tea go back to world of warplanes and suck on that.

I may have to download that Rise of Flight just to have something to actually give the stick a good try.

I have looked at the DCS games on steam before and they simply just offend me with their prices. 20-50 dollars per plane module? They can eat a big fat one.

What does each plane include? The Steam page for F-15C: DCS says there's a new campaign but what does this actually mean: new map, new era, new era appropriate AI units? Or half a dozen scenarios based on existing maps?

Wings: Over Flanders Field is very good. It's a WW1 simulation built on CFS3, although except for needing CFS3 to install it you wouldn't know it. Perhaps this means it has poor support for modern joysticks.

I considered that Thrustmaster HOTAS but I don't like the idea of cheap HOTAS - I went with a mid-range single stick for the same price and I'm pleased with the Mad Catz / Saitek FLY5. Best trim control I've ever used excluding real aircraft.
