I wonder how many people are still going to think its about tie fighter/x-wing even though it says NEW ip.

My wife never bothered to watch any of the previous Star Trek movies, and she thought it was great. I'm a longtime fan -- and while I'm not sure whether it deserves all the hype it's been getting, it's very good... and a heckuva lot better than we've gotten out of Paramount for more than a decade.
Oh, and an obligatory response to the bra story: Pics, or it didn't happen. |

| Yeah, when I saw the title on the trailer I thought they'd finally turned Battle of the Planets into a feature film. I think I had a permanent "WTF" expression as I watched the actual trailer. |

I saw this being played on X360 and thought the game just looked terrible. It just struck me as a poor man's GTA, with dodgy voice acting and wooden animations.
You're passing on a really fun game, but to each his own. The graphics aren't in the same league as GTA IV, but the game definitely brings the crazy -- in a good way. |

If it's not digital, it just needs recalibrating. Put it in a glass of water and (mostly) ice and turn the nut behind the gauge until it reads 32 degrees. (You can calibrate with boiling water as well, but ice water is safer.)

Agreed. They didn't have to do this for the existing folks -- they could have released a "gold" edition or something like that to retail and just been done with it, or not tried to improve the game based on user feedback at all.

PS3 outsold 360 by about 39,000 units in January. 360 outsold PS3 in December by about 460,000 units.
PS3 is on a good trend; congrats. If it can maintain that kind of sales lead, it'll blow through the 360's DECEMBER 2007 delta by this year's holidays.
