Didn't you have ads in the 20th century?
Fry: Well, sure, but not in our dreams. Only on TV and radio. And in magazines and movies and at ball games and on buses and milk cartons and T-shirts and written in the sky. But not in dreams. No, sir-ee!

The initial screenings were supposed to be really bad too, which is why the movie was pushed back for reworking - it was supposed to be released last year I think.

"they focus too much on stories and crap about the athletes rather than on the events themselves"
this is also my main gripe about the olympics and other major tournaments (e.g.- tennis opens). enough with the sob stories and such, just show more of the actual events.

Arrested Development is quite simply one of the funniest series ever...on par with Seinfeld and often times even better. It is very difficult to get into if you have not watched it from the start and seen every single ep. The number of inside jokes and references to past eps will confuse most people if they don't get what they're referring to. Some eps are so filled with these that it might take more than one viewing to catch each one...
oh...it also forces you to think a bit as there isn't a laugh track

How can you NOT have Arrested Development on the top shows list????? That is just mind boggling...BSG is the only show worthy enough to be on that list.
