BTW, what the fuck do you need a manual for? It's a first person shooter, did you forget how to play one? A box? I stuff them in a drawer and soon they will go into a box or thrown out cus they are taking up too much space. CD's...well lets see you can take the files you downloaded and burn them onto a DVD-RW, thats what $2 at most, and re-write the files every now and then when there are updates to the files. Should you ever have to, all you have to do is copy and paste the files into the Steam folder after you reinstall Steam, which is faster than installing the game over again and downloading the patches. Finally someone who talks sense. Buying thru Steam is the best option. No hassles, no bullshit cluttering up yer desk. And it gives Valve your money instead of Vivendi who in reality do nothing to warrant their existense in a broadband world. |

| Exactly, the game is finished it's the cs: source that they are getting straight. I think with this beta test they just wanted to get some idea of how their game would run on everyone's system and such, not to mention working out the bugs in the multiplayer. From what I have read before and if I remember correctly, those who buy via Steam will get the game same time as those who buy from brick and mortor will. |

Yeah, and only one map doesn't help either. UT2K3 has a star wars mod and it only has 1!!!! server runnning it. I am a big star wars fan and I am disappointed that they are not popular mods but what the hell.

For one thing, if you ever played TFC or CS you would know that only teams can speak to each other using voicecom. Only a few servers run all-speak on. And I was on dialup for last 3 years and I NEVER had lag as a result of voicecom. It seems that only Valve can design proper netcode for voicecom, not to mention most other things netcode related. BTW, BF has great netcode so I know they could integrate voice if they wanted to.
