2003 looked amazing too way back when but the gameplay was shit 
I've been impressed with XMP. It's like Planetside + fun + no fee + decent gfx + good teamplay + a fucking POINT + jetpacks.

Cutting servers to further cluster players means they just don't have the playercount.
Good idea but pisspoor execution. The changes made late in beta killed the game.

I also have yet to hear any statement about actually fixing anything. Just CEO doublespeak.
ASE long since surpassed Gamespy Arcade anyway, and there are several superior alternatives to Roger Wilco (teamspeak, ventrilo, etc.). No big loss IMHO.

You people do realize that 28 days later looked like an amateur movie because it was, yes?
It was extremely low budget. So no flashy explosions for you.
I also liked the turbo zombies.

There are not many systems except the very top of the line which will be able to touch 60 fps at max detail and say 1280x1024 or better anyway. So no biggie.

1.01 was only released to try to curtail the rampant piracy of the game and that was a giant waste of time. 1.01 is already cracked. Perhaps Gearbox should spend time figuring out why the game runs so badly in campaign? In multiplayer online the game runs fine, but campaign flags badly.

Never had a problem downloading with it as long as there's 1 seed so the torrent is not dead.
Use the original BT client..most of the 3rd party BT clients cause problems.
