Trion Worlds seem willing to work for their fans, more than most I've seen, if not all.
The people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country.

Pretty far. I think they don't even have a dev team anymore. It's on life support, and has been so for a couple years now. Unless they suddenly put some resources in to convert it... it will either stay subscription based, or they will kill it all together, like Matrix Online.

EQ always had a dev team, which is why they were still realeasing expansions... all the way through November of 2011. So, there was resources available to be able to convert it.
At first I couldn't figure out why they would need a dev team, since new content wouldn't really be necessary. The conversion issue makes sense of it.

Last I heard there were still at least 2 dev team members who work on fixing technical issues, but this easily could have changed. Also when I've logged in most people say since the single server merger grouping is pretty easy. Once again this could have changed.

I guess if it's too much cost to convert, it wouldn't work. Once they get their systems in place, might be more efficient.

They are grandfathering in existing toons (ie. toons created prior to F2P) in EQ2 at least, so I'll finally be able to start them back up without paying an exorbitant amount to do so...

Also, they will refund ppl who payed for packs for pre-F2P toons.
Nice find, thanks for the infos.

Define hard, I mentioned from looking on the faq, which was linked on this article. How hard should it be for a potential customer?

Sadly, it doesn't seem to allow it:
The four free races included with FREE and Silver Memberships are: Human, Erudite, Barbarian and Gnome.

The four free classes included with FREE and Silver Memberships are: Warrior, Cleric, Wizard, and Rogue

This the same crap they are pulling on EQ2, just sucks.

Really tempting, might be worth taking a tour down memory lane.

This despite the fact soe's plan still isn't as good as LotR's. Even after soe updated the plan, from the disastrous initial plan at EQII F2P launch. It's like soe enjoys not making money by having more subscribers. It's always the subscribers that suffer the most and they just bleed off.

One particular thing stands out and there's nothing in soe Everquest faq. Turbine offers 3 month discount for subscribing instead of the $15, you get it for $10 per month. Guess soe doesn't want their servers to fill up with people spending money for 3 months at a time.

Of course it could just be soe's Corporate baseless sense of entitlement, too.

Implying that it's a choice is also assuming facts not in evidence. The only reason this discussion started was because one obvious troll, and another less obvious troll kicked it off claiming that this was some sort of "reverse discrimination" type situation since straight people don't advertise straight clans/guilds. I already addressed that point in an earlier post. The rest is just noise.
I wasn't addressing any post you made, nor is this post.

I was just giving what I thought was a general overview. I didn't imply as far as I can see, it was ONLY choice. Only mentioned, I've seen no science either way. As well, I mentioned the (afai can see) gays who care are the ones who need a reason beyond they choose to be gay. Another words, there are gay people who don't care what anyone thinks and they just live their lives. There are other gay people who seem to have to prove it's genetic/born with what ever they want to call it, gayness(?). In other words, they don't seem to be happy with who they are so they need some science to apparently prove they are what they think or want to believe.

My only issue with the gay organizations are mostly with the majority of male gays. Many spend so much time, talking and promoting gay agendas, so it's easy for the religious to use them as a scary issue. Iirc, they constantly have called for a Constitutional Amendment because of sexual choice. It's as if they are intentionally trying to make themselves the badguys.

The reason is this, instead of being part of the community as a person offering help to others. They always talk about themselves and what they want, gay this and gay that. Women still don't have Federal Constitutional Equal Rights. I have NEVER heard once a gay male advocating to get basic Equal Rights, they all enjoy as males for women. Now that pisses me off and in general think them bastards, for this reason.

What would happen if the gay community organized and helped women get Equal Rights, before they worried about themselves? Gays would get support from the largest population, women. Would gays be as easily made to be scary by religious fund raisers, no. It's like the gay community has been overthrown by one of karl rove's operatives (log cabin?) who is intentional making bad decisions.

A political example is 2000 Presidential campaign. The gay community cost Gore the election because they couldn't keep their mouths shut during the election. It was extremely easy for the religious to make gay scary. At least 10% a conservative estimate, the polling data it's probably more like 15% to 20% of the votes bush got were from ultra conservatives because they were easily scared by the gay.

Oh wait, there's another reason for me to be pissed.

Funny thing about this thread both sides are throwing around "born that way" or "gene therapy" with out any apparent evidence for either side.

I remember back in 1998 or so a scientist released a study saying he had found a "gay gene". Then every single study that tried to duplicated it failed and they called him out for it. He said something like "I knew no one would be able to duplicate it, just wanted to bring attention to it". Turns out he was not only a scientist but a gay one and apparently by his own words a liar too.

None of it matters, since apparently the only people who care one way or another are extremists christians like robbins who are looking to make a buck on their uneducated followers and gays who apparently need a reason to be gay, other than just choosing to be.

Now off the top of my head. But I suspect that if you contact the Texas Department of State Health Services or Texas Health Assessment and Toxicology Program they might help you.

Not, I know from experience that Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Alabama, Tennessee, and Georgia all do this. So I am just inferring from the fact that of those states are the only states I have been involved in their "State Health Lab", and they all performed these analysis. I could be totally wrong, but there is so much government extra funding to these programs to check for those things in the water supply system; and it is literally only software and data analysis changes and throwing in a few more internal standards.

No worries, thanks for the tips. I'm pretty sure it's the EPA. Actually funding has been cut since 2001 and most federal agencies can't do their job. Of course, this is intentional. How else could they convince the uneducated public, government agencies are useless and need to be privatized.

GOP lawmaker: Virtually impossible to get AIDS through heterosexual sex
See delusional or intent to delude, absolutely no credible evidence (even half ass credible) of what he is saying. As far as I'm concerned, it doesn't matter what political side they're on, sex or race it would still be delusional.

Even sent Blue links from fakenews, when they post something true or accurate. In case your wondering it was about two stories out of thousand.

At least when I send something like HuffPo if they made a mistake they retract or correct it immediately, unlike other hack journalism sites.

Science if full of approximations and limitations. I am a scientists. I do not believe the earth is flat. But, over a small enough range, for piratical purposes the earth can be treated as flat. We make simplifications all the time in science.

I have no real point here, I am just saying; I can say the earth is flat and depending on my perspective and application I am correct within acceptable tolerance.
I would suggest there's a big difference between what you and I are talking about.

I'll guess it could help do equations or statistical analysis. However I bet you don't avoid traveling on vehicles, boats, trains or any other standard form of transportation because you fear falling off the earth. More to the point a flat earther is still deluded because of their belief system based of fear and ignorance, not based on knowledge or statistical facts as a scientist.

Most everyone has believe something dumb, wrong or false (no one's born with knowledge/facts, afaik). Yet when someone believes something without a single shred of creditable evidence and all evidence proves it false, then it becomes a neurosis.

Heh. Well, I think this is just explaining one possible reason why lower IQ people might be racist. Racism aside, I think that conservative dogma, with its simpler, less changing message is perhaps more appealing to folks seeking a simple message to explain the world... An example on the liberal side is the belief that vaccines cause autism, which is still widely held, despite not only being widely disproven in study after study, but the original study which claimed it was shown to have falsified data.
Maybe... but I would never call it conservatism, as it would seem like an insult to great (not claiming without flaw anymore than I would a great liberal) conservatives like General Eisenhower.

I'm gonna disagree on the cognitive dissonance and go with delusion. If a person believes the earth is flat, makes all his decisions based on this and raises his childeren under these mental abuses. It most often causes harm to them and those around them, it's not just some difference of opinion. The very definition, believes something that is factually provably false. It can range from being dangerous to being benign such as a an superstition. There are tons of examples, most talking points as are coded words are intended to delude.

In regards to autism and liberals, I've never heard it classified as such. I have seen many conservatives, who believe this as well. Aamof I have tried to point out to many people who fear flu shots because of mercury, it was removed from vaccines back in 1999 (iirc). The funny versions are hearing people say they got the full flu after getting the shot. As if they can measure when and if they get an airborne or by touch virus. As if they were put in a bubble after getting the shot, no restaurant, grocery store, movies...nothing.

Edit: Me personally, I blame the toxic water (water standards in the US don't test for house hold chemicals or pharmaceuticals), toxic air and food supply (most meats, cheeses and milks are full of steroid and antibiotics).
