I can wait like most people, I've got one friend that likes it. I wouldn't mind playing it BUT afaik it's Pay to Win and a Cash Shop and Monthly. That's some shaky ground, not to mention console game designed for cross platform.

Guess it's just been so long since I played or they have added many new armors. I've got several level 80 toons but I recall, the only way to get different looks was to use rare drop items to transfer stats to other gear. However in general the better outfits for each class were still the same. Another issue was outfits are class locked, so if you like an outfit from another class, you are SOL.

Don't get me wrong Dyes are great and Guild Wars 2 does them better than any other game but were too expensive. If just having a different color of the same outfit (without having to use special rare drop or pay to win items) is enough, that's cool. It's wasn't/isn't enough for me, there's no reason to be locked in to a choice of mixing and matching just 3 or so armors.

I'm not talking about specialized Raid drop and Faction stuff, I'm talking about the normal gear 80% of the players use. I recall most of the high level mage gear was pretty atrocious, hopefully that's changed.

I also can't believe it's some kind of Lore issue cause running around fighting world defining battles in some Operatic outfit would be more acceptable than doing it in a James Bond tux!

If the clothing is anything like The Secret World, then it's an excellent move. In The Secret World you rarely if ever (specialized costumes, sure) run into someone dressed the same way. I hated it in any mmog, not just Guild Wars 2, when everyone looks the same.

So he was so completely unaware, there was even going to be a movement of gamers against publishers, but he's absolutely completely sure, it couldn't possibly last?

That's how he makes games too, right?

Hard to believe people are going to pay $15 a month for low quality graphic builder.

It's free to play. Also, EQLM and EQN are different entities. https://www.everquestnext.com/eqn-faq

However, if you do get the (optional) subscription, it's All-Access (as of April 4th), which means you also get it for DCUO, PS2, etc. The 3-month bundle price is reasonable for that (currently, $12.95 per)
Gtk, damn that's confusing, tyvm!

Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition for $2.49 US is a pretty sweet deal. Especially considering they are actively working on the game/netcode allowing for net play on Steam servers.

Hope I'm wrong but I have no confidence in eidos to put out AAA material, especially after Thief. If it's mediocre of better I'll get it 50% to 75% off sale.

Vehicle, was from the 70s, we used to drive around the strip (the drag). Where guys and girls (100s) parked on the sides on Friday and Saturday nights looking for lov...sex! It was mostly high school age, back when drinking age was 18, so there were 14 and 15 year old's out there too.

Think America Graffti in the 70s!

You did get me on the band though, I completely forgot and could have sworn it was Chicago or Blood Sweat and Tears.

It's the same as hearing the difference between a 12 year old boy and a 30 year old guy. Not only are the voice frequencies different but phrasing and intonations. But whatever.

I could list several movies with 12 year old girls being played by teens. 3am the only one that comes to mind atm is Push, a 14 year old, playing a 12 year old. It's not rated too high but is based on a comic book so not only is it hard to pull off, it's got a niche audience. If you go in thinking of it as an indie or Kickstarter film, it's pretty good work, especially the cinematography. Surely it's available on Netflix or less reputable places.
