Galaxy sounds great, not so sure about AvP though. I really don't like adding games to my list, unless I really like them. At least on GOG, you can Hide games, something I can't seem to do on Steam.

If you right-click your game in Steam, select Set Categories. Then check the box labeled 'Hide this game in My Library'.
Thanks

Excited here too, though since the developer is unknown to me, not sure what price point I will buy it.

Zombies (like them or not) are the perfect enemy. No Political, religious, social, racial or gender special interest group has any legitimate negative psychological affect evaluation or classification profile. Zombie Mwahaha

No Trust!

Larger game sizes are from larger textures, cutscenes, music and voice as Creston mentions.

Looking forward to protesting another shitty console designed game by not playing, pre-ordering or buying.

Origin is a part of EA and EA is a part of my shit list so even when they do this, there's no way I'll bite. They could have a box of kittens included and I still wouldn't budge.

It baffles my friends who don't understand my zero EA stance and every time they get pissed off with them, they'll get mad, say they've sworn off EA but immediately fold like a house of damp cards when a carrot gets dangled in front of them. It's like an abusive relationship.
Same here, won't join origin or buy ea games new/retail prices.

  • Activision is making a Duck Dynasty game.

  • FINALLY! NOW I have a reason to buy a console again!

Do they think their target audience for this game has a XBONE/PS4 can read? Hmmm...
    Fixed!

Mod support is a promised feature post release and was actually one of the successful tiers of Kickstarter.

Iirc Brian used 1 million of his own money for development.

I really don't see the comparison, of course PST looks aesthetically better it's hand painted background, not a free 3D world environment. Hopefully you will be able to enjoy the game for want it is, not what you imagine it should be based on some impossible criteria.

I know I'll enjoy it, not only for the amazing achievement of it's development but also as an incredible game. Mwahaha

Sho you do realize your comparing PST a setview range graphics, which enable the drawing of maps, with much greater detail. Verses W2 which is completely different in that it's 3D with variable camera view ranges and angles..right?

I'm a software engineer with a computer graphics background. I haven't done any game dev (beyond an attempt at reimplementing Tomb Raider once, which got as far as loading and rendering the environments - thanks to others reverse engineering and documenting the map format), but I'm pretty clear on the different approaches to putting things on screen, aye.

If you realize this, I'm not sure why your going into such detail comparing two completely different graphic renderings.

Because I feel the problems I'm pointing out are systemic and examples of a general weakness in inXile's output. It's correct the different approaches pose different challenges, but they're not hitting attainable quality targets in either for me, aesthetically and craft-wise.

As for why I'm invested in talking about it ... well I am invested, with money, in both games ;P.
Cool, can you name a single 3D game made for $4 million, which has better graphics?
