I have to check 3 sites at most to find a file. Normally just one. But if it makes you feel better to bust on people and call them cheap then it's your prerogative. Searching for files takes some common sense.
And keep paying for files that are out there for free, "realist". They love you for it. As long as you feel it rationalizes your purchase. I guess that is all that matters.
A "deal" is a just state of mind.

I cant believe it. Wow this is ranks as one of the all time lows for gamers.
WTF, what if Microsoft made this deal for NFL Fever franchise? People would be off their rocker. I know madden isnt THAT bad but ESPN was a better game and EA couldnt hack it :(... Props to VC I will be buying all the other ESPN games and I hope you make killings, until EA signs agreements for all the other Pro Sports league.
Maybe ESPN can make a NFL Europe game, I doubt it though.

SP maps will be great, but the MP is what I am finding hard to swallow. They added CTF, wow, Assault, wow, and Domination, wow. Then the ranking system for Online gives players more grenades the better they do. So if you suck you get 1 grenade if you dont you get 3. Sounds like a headache for newbies.
I don't want to rip this game before the reviews. I am skeptical about it though. I hope the MP is good. If so I will pick this up. If not then maybe next edition.

Okay I am going to puke now and brush my teeth with Clorox and burn anything I touched since reading that post.... sick :).
On to WOW, I only played one MMORG and that was Everquest. I have bought every blizzard game but Diablo 2, and I am really tempted to buy this one. There are some really cool features like "instancing of dungeons" so each group gets their own "instance" of a dungeon, that is REALLY nice. Dungeons seem more like a tavern than an isolated, dangerouse place in most MMORPG because its so crowded. Some dungeons are for just you and your group now that is a nice feature. This game has alot of positives and I honestly think this is the perfect game for Blizzard to make. But it better get A+++++ friggin' reviews before I drop $55 on the game and then $10 - $15 on a monthly fee... I be po'.

Ok I dont want to get into the middle of the Flamefest here but check out these links:

Notice the prices for BOTH of these games. $55. I have heard that companies are planning to push the prices of games up to $60 a copy. THEY SAY because of developement cost, true, but they sell more copies than ever considering Video games have passed movies in popularity and possibly sales.
Look if you don't think Valve is not trying to cut out the publisher, aka middleman, through Steam and there by increasing their profits your either fooling yourself or have no business sense.
What the man said makes perfect sense:
1) games are going up in price
2) Valve is using Steam to increase profits.
I dont see why you guys are jumping on his back, yea he is speculating but that is what you have to do unless you have a crystal ball.
I can get links to support my claims but I am not running for office here so you can look them up yourself :).

I understand that, but if you frequent their forums you normally hear news about the patch getting submitted for testiing and the status, not daily but enough.

I would tend to disagree about the aimed down the sights issue. There is only 1 gun that I feel its almost completely useless to use the sights, mp44 - the German light machinegun. Other than that its fairly easy to track your targets while you shoot with the sights up.
On a seperate note, I dont want to hear jack from IW and Activision until I see the headline "COD Patch Released". The patch has had on and off release dates for months now. Get the patch right and get it out, and quit toying with the public "After Thanksgiving" yea WAY THE FRIG AFTER THANKSGIVING.

Being an Xbox owner, I am dissapointed that he is leaving. I thought he did a good job with the Xbox considering it was its intial entrance into the market. I think he did a rather good job on which titles to go with and which should be scrapped or reworked. I hope they get someone better to fill his shoes, but I must admit I did like his work. If they hire someone who sucks I just wont buy and xbox2.

The Latter is what you can do. I hate to say it but man the HL engine is just worn the F*CK out. Graphics are pretty bad. Cant wait for the games based on the Doom3 and HL2 engine. MAN ITS GOING TO BE GOOD(but my wallet isnt as happy as I am about the news)!

I didnt like it, it is extreme realism. No hud at all what so ever.
I couldnt shoot w/o having the iron sights up
The animations for walking and crawling, just movement in general are bad
shooting seems a little inacurate
Btw, for a game that is about realism they let you keep your aim up while you are crawling prone, that doesnt seem right.
Hope someonelse enjoys this mod

For the first time on Blues I completely Totally agree with all the post, well the only 2 that are here.
He says the 9600 PRO is a "budget" card. It was $200 when I bought it about a month ago. That is the price of any console and you can get 2 gamecubes for that. $200 for a video card should be more than enought to run your piece of s*it port, but no your port is a hunk of crap so my P4 2.8 and 9600 have Framerate issues.
I also love how its the gamers fault their game runs like crap and not their's. The gamers should know the original ran on the Xbox hardware, so the port should have to run on a CREY SUPERCOMPUTER to get some descent frames.
Sorry to rant, but GEARBOX = CRAP always has always will. That article just enrages me. The editor had performance issues on a P4 3.2 and a 9800PRO 256RAM, BUT IT'S NOT THEIR PORT its the gamer's expectations. Give a a freakin break!
Here's a toast to you going out of business Gearbox, and to you butchering one of the better FPS ever made. CHEERS!

Being a Xbox owner I have to say the reason why they waited so long is because the Xbox did not have another top flight exclusive title like HALO until Star Wars KOTOR came it out a couple of months ago. HALO still was the exclusive title that helped sell the Xbox. So I can understand why they waited so long.
The reason why it has so many problems is because:
1) it's gearbox
2) they added directx 9 support
3) Had to write multiplayer code.
BTW if you own a FX nvidia card, except probably the 5900, that is your frame rate problem not the game. The FX nvidia cards are having trouble with DirectX 9 effects hopefully when they release the new drivers nvidia owners will see a significant gain in frames.
