Ill thought out? It's a shooter! Not a first person slasher like Morrowind. And if you complain about the monster designs here, I don't understand how you could stand Morrowind.

you get the choice of what strengths you want... defence or 2 weapon fighting, at the end of the demo level. That's an RPG element. And let's not get into semantics.

the game has strafe jumping... RPG elements (beat the level)... more physics than Q3 (gun recoils effect movement)... better graphics than Q3 (sorry you're blind), and it's cheap. You people lack judgement.

I played this game for more than 5 seconds...
The game really is a kowtow to Quake 3 fans... the more you play it the more you'll see how decent it is. It comes out next year for $20 in the US, so I'll definatly pick it up!

I don't think this effects Blue that horribly. But this will probably effect me and millions of others negativly for years. And thus began the dark ages of internet gaming news. As if it wasn't bad enough already.

Stores seem to be getting it a day earlier than expected.
Although I was disappointed by the demo, I have had some fun with it. I'm picking the game up.

KOTOR runs great on my Ti4600 at 1024x as well... KOTOR tends to favor Nvidia cards.
The shadows in X2 and Deus Ex IW for that matter use Stencil Buffers, very fill rate intensive (mostly not multi-texture fill rate unless on GeforceFX cards). Most of the time a DX9 card will be better with these, since fill rate has gotten better with the newer cards, but not the budget ones.

What about the AI and mouse support? I've heard some bad things... I imagine Freelancer, but being forced to use my keyboard, with a choppy framerate, and the dogfights being even worse.
I also hear that the Enlight (US) release may have more bugs than the Aussie release?

I've also heard complaints about gameplay, performance, joystick issues, and tons of other things. I wasn't sure I wanted a Elite-clone, but after hearing all the negativity I'm not going to get this. I'm going to pick up DXIW instead. Seriously.

Henceforth in LA the Master Drive and Slave Drive shall be known as the Whiteboy Drive and Blackboy Drive.
No offense to anyone, just showing how stupid these PC thugs are.

I think it could be both, it seemed from visiting the Bioware forums that little testing was done on the 9600 cards. However Bioware also blames ATI's drivers for some features they had to take out for Radeon cards.
