I got confirmed word from Eidos that the demo will be publicly available Saturday afternoon on the usual non-subscription & "free" download services.
Demo doesn't work for me either though, it installed fine and as soon as i click on the desktop icon, i get some "viktoria" error.
Doesnt the FP stuff usually ask you about the ezpad and reg key? Because this time it didn't, nor did the FP page prompt me with a key. Something new?

The demo was leaked a day or 2 ago, but Activision is not allowing any mirrors of the demo, so that filefront url will probably disappear soon (so grab it while you can 
the demo will appear on the December cover cd of PCGamer indeed.

Odd how this is an "updated" version, its been on Worthplaying ever since the public demo was announced on Tuesday. Cinemaware only released 1 public version and it was the v5, so there is nothing updated about this one ... The v4 was Fileplanet's "members only", and Tuesday's version was v5, simply with some updated code.

subscription doesnt mean you need to pay, it means you need to sign up, which you had to do with FP in order to get the ezpad code.
unless i am mistaken of course...
