Yeah, it's funny. I played GW on and off for 2 years, yet when I think back on my time, it's mostly the negatives that spring to mind... I feel a bit the same way, but it's probably because I played the game so much. Spending that much time with a game will make it's flaws apparent--I think there's more to be said by the fact that I played for so long (right around 1000 hours IIRC).
I know I'll be pre-ordering GW2 the minute I can. |

Will they finally implement an auction house? Wow. That's so familiar I just had flashbacks. I think every GW player has said that at least once. |

Dear lord, it's becoming a whole page.
Still, I like. I know it doesn't really fit with the flow of the site, but what about actually giving the sales section it's own subpage with a link posted whenever updates hit? My guess is that this section is going to continue to grow over time, and it's likely to become a bit cumbersome on the main page. |

| Yeah, it's a shame I already own most of them. I've recently become hopelessly addicted to Titan Quest--I picked it up along with the expansion through Impulse awhile back and just recently got around to playing it. Now I can't stop. |

As for what the 8800GT can't handle, eh, it can handle most games fine, but it could definitely be faster in some games. (Fallout / Oblivion, which I still play frequently) and it's an extra level of FSAA etc. No problem. My 4870 did quite well with Fallout--I ran at 1920*1080 with everything cranked right up iirc. It also runs Plants vs Zombies quite well. |

Hmm, it's about time to update my 8800GT. Anyone here with a 4850-4890? How are they behaving in games? Lots of problems? Stable drivers? Great speeds? Moved from an 8800GT to a 4870 back in February. It's been rock solid, excellent drivers, and it left my 8800GT in the dust. It runs a bit hot for my taste (Everest is reporting temps of 54 GPU, 74 Memory and 60 Shader, all Celsius at idle). I'd be a bit worried except they've been like that from day one, with no overclock, and I have excellent cooling.
I'll probably grab a card out of the 5800 series when I can find a decent sale. I've preferred my ATI card to the last two Nvidia cards (8800GT and 7950GX2) especially with respect to drivers, but YMMV. |

| Well apparently something finally changed on ATI's end; I can finally download the drivers from their page with Firefox instead of getting the invalid referrer BS. |

What are these 'boxes' that you people speak of?
Though Steam has been pissing me off lately and Impulse hasn't been far behind. I may actually end up buying this the old-fashioned way. |

| I was a huge RO fan when it was a UT2004 mod, but I started to drift away as the vehicular stuff became more common. I'll still be keeping an eye on this though. |

Impulse has been running the same deal for Red Faction for awhile now, though 1 and 2 aren't yet available to play. I'm guessing it's because they won't charge for Guerrilla until it's released.

Logitech finally did what I've long wanted: stuffed the G9 tech into the G5 housing. I have both and prefer the G9 in every way except for the shape, which is a rather large problem--it's also why the G9 has been shelved for a long time. Looks like they moved the scroll wheel mode switch to the top (thank god) and shrunk the side buttons down a bit. I'll be all over this one the day of release.
Maybe I'll replace my original G15 too....it's started to get a little flaky on me. Dunno if I'll jump on another G-series keyboard though. |

| For some reason this game slipped way under my radar--now that all the pre-launch hype is hitting full force I've finally noticed it. I'm actually quite interested and may pick it up on day one, but it probably helps that I don't have any issue at all with the art style. |

Bucky: Does it have hardware EAX support? No software emulation. I'm almost positive it can do hardware EAX up to 2.0, and then software emulation a few more notches up. I could be wrong though, the ability to enable EAX might be provided by the software. To be honest I stopped paying attention once I switched over to Vista, and that was awhile ago. |

Friends don't let friends buy Creative! QFT. I've been running an Asus Xonar DX for awhile now and I love it. Far better sound quality than the onboard solution and it's not made by Creative. |

| As long as it plays like Serious Sam (Both parts) and not SS2 I'm happy. I can still remember the feeling the Serious Sam 2 demo gave me--it was not pleasant. |
