I think Firefox has a serious case of feature-itis.

All it needs to do is browse the web in the most secure way possible. That's all it has to do.

Yeah, seriously. It's ninety bucks to try it the full game with all expansions and there's no demo.

No sale.

It's too bad Stardock botched their last game so badly. They should've been making GalCiv 3 by now.

Aren't most people done with the game now? It seems a little late for this, but I guess they are trying to salvage it so they can sell DLC.

Maybe when the GOTY edition comes out on steam for $10 I'll pick it up.

I'd never even heard of Distant Worlds and now I want to try it as well.

It does need a GoTY version though. Badly.

How long could it possibly take to process a credit card?

This is something retail does in like 3 seconds.

The news headline should read: Professor freed to find university that teaches climate change skepticism. Fox's favorite toy, the free market, will surely solve his unemployment problem.

Every time I see this I do a double-take and think that Cleve finally released Grimoire.

I'm kind of interested in Okami HD.

I wish they would make a real sequel to that game.

I don't really get why people are so surprised that having 700+ million gas-burning cars, hundreds of millions of heated homes, an untold number of factories, hundreds of thousands of acres of pavement, heavy deforestation, etc. might possibly upset/change things on a planetary scale.

It might be cool, but there's no way would I buy version 1. If it catches on and they make another one with all the bugs worked out then I'll give it serious consideration.

The rewording is shorter, more concise, and better worded. From a reader's point of view it gets the message across without immediately bringing to mind the competition - something you don't necessarily want readers/viewers to be thinking about while you're trying to sell things. That's all I'm really seeing.

I don't see myself migrating to Win8 anytime soon - if ever.

It just looks like another one of Ballmer's brain farts.

I might try it if it's free. I think the first few F2P games shot the rest in the foot. Now consumers like me just wait until a new MMO goes F2P - because chances are good it will. If it doesn't, some other MMO will.

Oh yeah, I ended up playing a lot of really old games on the VC too.

I liked the Wii ok. Waggle controls were overdone and misused but it was novel for a while. It's too bad they didn't do HD out of the gate. Now they have to release a console when nobody really wants to spend big money on much of anything.

Getting tired of the recession..

Did people really buy Wii to play Wii Sports? I bought it to play Zelda and Mario - the same reason I bought the cube (which did suck, admittedly).

I'll probably get a Wii U later for HD.

It'd be nice if it played my collection of Wii games.

I'm not busting out of the gate to buy one though. It's something that can wait a year or more.

I'm glad they're doing mod tools. This game ought to be great. Now we just have to see if they can execute all their ambition on a small budget.

I decided I could skip Taco Bell and throw my money in at the last minute. Even if the point and click adventure game genre problems persists, it's still the Two Guys from Andromeda. The deaths will be funny - and I sorta liked the new main character they made.

I don't like hunt the pixel but I don't like hunt the word either.

I like adventure games, but I don't like their gameplay anymore.

I don't know what the solution is but I wish someone would come up with one. Adding in some good replay value might help too. There's no reason a modern adventure game couldn't have harder puzzles for those who had finished it once, alternative endings, etc.

All the text cursor really did was pad the gameplay with frustrating "guess the right word combination" frustration. Most people still just spammed combinations of items on objects in the room until something happened. All moving to a mouse interface did was highlight the fundamental flaw of Sierra adventure games..
