| Thank god. Can you imagine the fallout of people engaging in harmless disease free sexual play in the privacy of their own homes with other consenting adults? Well played, Phillipines. |

It's a shame non-Nexus phones are at the mercy of the OEM/carriers for upgrades. yet another reason to unlock, root, and put a custom rom on. fuck verizon, there will be a solid jellybean custom rom ready for your device in about a week. agreed about the polish of ios...but as far as capability, android is lightyears ahead of the iphone os. an android is a tiny pc. i use mine to torrent and manipulate files. almost any item in your android os is open to tweaking. but the platform doesn't really open up until you root it. |

i'd like to take this opportunity to say fuck EA, and origin is the shittiest steam knockoff i've ever used.
i bought BF3...i love the BF series, bought it the day of launch. through EA/origin. i waited 48 hours...for the opportunity to download it. i was so enraged at the time i called customer support, they told me "tough luck" and refused to refund me. (would have been more than happy to take the refund then run down to a store and buy a hard copy). |

this game sucked. it spent about 3 hours on my hard drive. honestly, i was excessively permissive, and allowed it 2 hours and 45 minutes more than i should have.
uninspired. boring. same old same ol. remarkably non-gripping "action".
this sucky game has the poor luck to have been released on new Origin Steam-wanna-be. (in case you area unaware of what that means: in my case, it means i bought it, then waited 24 hours to be able to download it. it's like Steam, but it fucks up every single aspect of what makes steam great.
i would caution you to bypass this loser of a game, both because it wasn't fun, and because Origin has failed to implement a quality online distribution model. |

| Compare and contrast with steam... buy something on steam and you end up pausing it because it immediately hogs all your bandwidth. Versus origin which never uses any of your bandwidth because it is not a download immediately service |

Regarding various comment saying origin is not that bad: A week ago I was dying for something new and a couple of reviews convinced me to buy a new game. (Swtor If you must know). So somehow I got shanghaied into buying it on origin. Completed the transaction... and no download. Waited an hour still no download. Called origin: they told me it would be a 48 hour wait. assumed it was a credit card problem called the credit card company they said everything is cool we okayed the transaction. Called origin back they told me tough cookies. Guess you just get to wait 48 hours. Luckily it was only a 24 hour wait. So that will be my last business experience with origin. If you are going to copy steam do it well. |

the character customization is daunting.
worth a try, it's a really fun mmorpg.
*Protip: if you start a mage and hate him, logout to menu and make a Melee class. mage is an acquired taste in this game, and requires a LOT of tweaking to love. i reset my points and redid my souls entirely like 15 times before i stopped hating my mage. |

| an alternative the congressman might consider is banning cartel violence. consider even banning the cartel itself! it seems like actual cartel violence might be a bigger threat to mexico than the effect of video games on it's children. |
