Make true PC games, not terrible ports (hello Transformers). Support the game. If it's an FPS, allow the community to mod it (maps especially-BC2). Do not charge me for minor updates that were free in similar games of the past (MW2). Don't give me ridiculous DRM (Ubi!). Treat me as if I know what I am doing in/with my games..do not dumb them down to console kids level (Section 8). Steer clear of over complicated, intrusive, controlling matchmaking services (GFWL).
Devs need to understand that PC gamers are largely more knowledgeable about games and game quality than console kids that buy whatever shiny new game is on the shelf. We aren't going to settle for a mediocre game where you charge us $60.00. |

Maybe losing this large chunk of money will force NC Soft into making a quality MMO next time..in response to recouping some of their losses.

No desire to play this game any longer. If you release a MP FPS and give it a very limited number of maps and no way for custom user content to be used.. you're going to run dry.
If they ever allowed us to map and mod.. i'd be back in.. i assume, a lot of others as well |

Yeah ahh, I am going to need to know that this game has some depth to it, unlike CO/CoX..
nothing on the main page has anything other than filler content.

I am going to have to hear some AMAZING things about this game in order for me to get jazzed about it again.
Also, it sure does seem that a lot of people across all the popular gaming sites have the same "blah" opinion..not good. |

The forums are still up in arms and I've never in all my years (since day 1 of release) seen the forums so angry at something. Locked threads everywhere.. hate on all the other related forums across other sites.
Makes staying away from WoW forever very easy.

I cannot understand how anyone can even be for this at all.. it's no added benefit.. nothing gained, only potential headaches.
How anyone in arguing for this, in any capacity, is mind boggling.

It's not about how people can find out who you are through other means anyhow..(it's not nearly as easy as people make it out to be)
It's not about stopping trolling (there are far less invasive and better methods)..
It's about how Real ID is NOT NEEDED at all, it's an unnecessary avenue for real life griefing and nothing positive will come of it, only negative.
I would also like to add.. that since getting help through the phone from blizzard on technical support matters is a nightmare, and people often use the forums for a way quicker, more accurate response.. you'll see more and more people that need help, refusing to ask for it on the forums.
The first time someone asks for help and they get stalked and no response.. you can bet they won't come back.

I cannot imagine the hell that will be brought to WoW once this goes live.
The guys are 4chan are going to straight up destroy so many people.
I predict:

| If anyone out there buys this game for the PC and then uses a game pad to play, they ought to forfeit their rights to play any game for the rest of their lives, and also, everyone they love ought to be set on fire during the 7th inning stretch of a Cubs game. |

I am not nearly as jazzed for this as I should be..in fact, my excitement is about a 3 out of 10. with every passing movie my interest level drops a fair bit.
That video of the smuggler in the woods vs the droid salesman.. wow did that look amateur.
The combat video that they showed with the Bounty Hunters losing until the jedi show up (or whomever that was).. man that looked grade school.
"starWoWs" .. i am totally stealing that.
