Halsy, you need to stop getting bated into fights. It’s pretty obvious now when Josh posts, it’s just bait to get you to go crazy and you know what? It works every single time. You go on some tirade for 3 pages and although the facts you argue are more or less correct, they are discredited and hidden in all your rage.
Now, in regard to the convention. Kerry/Edwards have made the case and from the looks of it most of the American people are starting to come around. Kerry made his case very well and although it wasn’t a Clinton speech it was above what most people expected. At this point the Bush camp needs to drop the Kerry bashing and address what he is going to do in the future. It’s obvious that he can’t run on his record that he has had for the last 3 ½ years and neither is running on the he isn’t Kerry platform. If we wants to try and win which he still might be able to do then he will need to be positive.

people who say "seperation of church and state" are ignorant of what the constituion says You're wrong and here's why.
nowhere does it say that goverment officials or buildings or whatever are not allowed to display their believes, It also doesn't say that its wrong to rape dogs in a park but that illegal. You can't use the argument that if its not in the constitution it doesn't apply.
in fact.. prohibiting someone from prayer, or displaying the commandments, even on government land, or in government funding institutions is unconstutional No displaying them on government land is againts what the term "seperation of church and state" means. Preventing someone from displaying them in their own property is unconstutional. Nobody is preventing anyone from praying at school. You can pray before and after school hours.
the ACLU attacks small towns for having a tiny cross on their logo.. Why not? The government is clearly favoring 1 religion over ever other.
qthe ACLU and people like that are trying to take away our free exercise of religion..
BS, if you knew anything about the ACLU you would know that on many occasions that they have taken up cases of christans who had been discriminated agains. Most recently they fought for a teen to have a bible verse on his page in the yearbook and fought to let a teacher wear her cross in school.
so many damn liberal groups have blown this up to say that anything Christian should not be represent in any way shape or form in any form of governement.. yes, it is basically just Christianity that is attacked.. they dont mind Jewish stars or candel things, they dont mind any Muslim symbols.. but as soon as you put the Nativity scene on government property bam, the ACLU sues ya..
So many damn conservative groups have blown this seperation of chruch and state in to some kind of government conspiracy to try and ban christianity. When infact its not, they are doing their jobs.
they dont mind Jewish stars or candel things, they dont mind any Muslim symbols.. That because you don't see a star of david on city seals nor do you see the Koran displayed in courthouses. Other people not just christians live in this country.
