Is it time for the annual coffee grinder discussion already?
I knew we had the coffee discussion, but i guess i've just missed the machinery part of it in the past. I'll check out the Kitchen Aids and see what i can find. My father in law keeps trying to pass off bags of whole beans to us every time we're over (he buys everything in bulk), so i thought i'd see what all the hubub was about knowing how addicted my wife is to her coffee.

Maybe you should set up the boards with a list of stickies with all of these commonly asked questions.

Hey Blue,
Can you give me any good inside info on coffee grinders? We've been looking at maybe picking one up, but have no clue what to look for. During the week, we normally set our coffee maker to brew the night before, so when we get up, it's made. Do they make grinders that'll grind and brew at a set time? And are they really loud?

Anything to see the luscious Scully again. I've always got room for a gorgeous redhead and her hilarious, trash talking partner.
I'm sure it'll be Journey or that Angelina movie. It looks to be already taking itself way to serious.

Yeah, didn't really do much for me.
I tend to go back to the earlier albums. Maybe my tastes have just changed. God, i must be getting old.

While Ghosts is what I’ve come to expect out of Trent, I have a few observations I’d like to make:
1. This was not a real release of anything new, but proof that he could make his business model work after failing with Saul.
2. There’s absolutely nothing new here. This sounds like samples he’s had rolling through his head since after Pretty Hate (leftovers from all of his B-sides/remixes – Fixed, Further Down, etc) that he’s never put on tape or stuff that was sitting on the cutting room floor that he used to make #1, above, work.
3. I’m wondering if after all of this time, he’s not running out of ideas. While there’s plenty of banjo in the CMT Music Awards, I don’t think 4 minutes of it mixed with distorted screaming or the same 5 notes on the xylophone is really anything we’d consider music.
4. 36 samples of his input to Groove Salad?
5. These all sound like samples that he’s awaiting bidding on for background music for next weeks NCIS preview or something that’ll end up in the trailer of the next Jerry Bruckheimer film.
While I’m fine giving my 5 bucks to him for this music (I feel sorry for the poor bastard that forked out the $300 for the special package), I’m a little disappointed in the quality of the music. My 11 year old also has an electronic keyboard that’ll play music that sounds like a piano and a banjo and other non-musical instruments thrown in for filler.
I love how he is always thinking outside the box and is revolutionary in his music making, but I guess I’m just a bit disappointed in this.

Doesn't matter to me - mine is already on it's way.
well, even if it was addressed, i'm kind of out of luck. i bought the mac and my wife turned the old box into a ubuntu server.

While that's an interesting discussion, it a) goes against my beliefs and b) makes me wonder why it makes my wife sound like a mating buzzard when she hiccups every 20 minutes (no joke, it happens all day long). fish, ehh. buzzard, likely.

Do you mean that you didn't understand what happened, or that you didn't understand what they were trying to do with how the story played out?
If you didn't understand what happened, you could try reading the spoilers for it.
He probably wasn't happy with the "non-hollywood" ending as most weren't.
Personally, i loved the film. got my vote for the pic of the year.

Anyone know if there's an equivalent to BN for the mac world? I know Blue occasionally puts up info about mac, but i'm new with mine and didn't know if anyone suggested any sites for games and reviews and such similar to this one.

I'm picking up a PS3 today on the way home. With the HD market collapsing so suddenly, i've gotten myself hooked on high def movies. and the player's getting really good reviews, so i know it'll be the best choice.
