When I learnt to ride a motorbike - I became a 10000000% better driver in a non motorbike vehicle. Ditto and i can pick out someone on their cell phone from any distance away now based on their driving. sometimes i think i must be an idiot for being on the bike as much as i am.

agreed on the episode. that was one of the best fight scenes that show has ever put out. i heard a recent review saying that this season's actually gonna be darker than the previous 3. got my hopes up for a glorious exit.
and Blue, that Fail Dogs site is a riot. there are some great pics.

I have an M.D. from Harvard, I am board certified in cardio-thoracic medicine and trauma surgery, I have been awarded citations from seven different medical boards in New England, and I am never, ever sick at sea. So I ask you; when someone goes into that chapel and they fall on their knees and they pray to God that their wife doesn't miscarry or that their daughter doesn't bleed to death or that their mother doesn't suffer acute neural trama from postoperative shock, who do you think they're praying to? Now, go ahead and read your Bible, _Dennis_, and you go to your church, and, with any luck, you might win the annual raffle, but if you're looking for God, he was in operating room number two on November 17, and he doesn't like to be second guessed. You ask me if I have a God complex. Let me tell you something: I am God.

this may be old news to you music guys, but Al Jourgensen is calling it quits. No more Ministry (after the worldwide tour, of course). New album kicks some serious ass if you haven't heard it yet. i busted my cherry with them back in college with 12 inch singles and it's a sad day to see them go, but i guess Al has run out of Bush jokes to write songs about.
edit: and does anyone want to punch Tyra Banks in the grill? someone shut that bitch up.

All refresh rates are correct. That's the first thing i always check. What's odd about all of this is that i could play any type of game. Vomit-inducing or not, in the past and then slowly, FPSs became more difficult to play and i was playing WoW 3 months ago without issue, but since then, i got a larger monitor (which i'm thinking might be the culprit) but playing wow last night gave me the sweats, a migraine and again, the sickness.
I've had my hearing checked, but not within the last few years. I know that accounts for balance and could be an issue.
And no, i won't be downgrading to a smaller monitor just to play games (on the mac, at least). You dont get a computer with a 24" monitor just to hook it up to a 14" to play games.
I'm also thinking this may just be my internal drive telling me i've spent enough time at my desk and to get up and go outside. It's not as though anyone's really thought of anything original in quite some time.

it's an lcd. 24" mac screen actually. i wondered if it wasn't the size, but after 10 minutes of naseau and grind, i remembered why i didnt play the game any longer.
yeah, i'm blinking. I can play puzzle quest for hours without issue or diablo (which i can actually do with my eyes closed for most of the game), but 3d stuff, mostly shooters and games without a stationary camera make my mcmuffin revisit.

Oh no, i've not eaten there in years. I try to generally avoid fast food altogether. It's a killer.
Off topic, i've got a question for you guys.
I've stated in the past that my gaming abilities have come to almost a complete halt because of motion sickness issues. I reinforced that last night after reinstalling WoW to give it another go and 10 minutes into it, i'd already begun a horrible migraine and was ready to puke all over my desk.
Problem is, i'm not ready to just give up gaming. So i'm wondering if anyone has a PSP or other handheld system and what their feelings are on the quality of games for them. I'm wondering if a smaller screen isn't what i need and i like the idea of having something i can take with me or lay in bed and play, etc. I dont want to just blow the money on a handheld if the belief is that they better suit my 11 year old instead of me and the games aren't that good (quality, selection, variety, etc).
thanks

Speaking of McD, I'm not sure if you guys down there have the same promotion going on right now as Canada, but the McRib is back for a limited time at the moment. I know a lot of people are retarded for McRib, so I thought I'd put it out there... consuming one of those things is McStupid. That sandwich defines mystery meat.

In defense of my man-cred, I drink my coffee black with no sugar, and I dare say my coffee is stronger than the espressso in most Starbucks.
That said, I admit I don't really like unsweetened tea. I make green tea, and put in a tablespoon of sugar and a tablespoon of honey for each quart of tea I ice. you still got plenty of cred to spare.
I'm exactly the opposite of you. Hate sweetened tea, but drink coffee with a dash of sugar to take the bitter edge off.

and I will begin to market some funky sort of tea-based furniture polish. that depends though. do you put sugar in your tea?
we all know that sugar's bad for wood (no real truth to that comment...) and decides if you're a real man and can drink it without sugar (the real point to all of this nonsense).

Any other suggestions or recommendations? Warhawk, up until last summer, we always used a charcoal grill. The flavor and smell always made up for the hassle and time, but we broke down and bought a Weber gas last year and have been thrilled with it. They have the basic models all the way up to the $5K range. I think we paid short of $600 for ours, but it's never had problems, cooks evenly and quickly and is built well. Nothing falling off or rusting out and we use it almost every weekend. Buying a cover for it will really prolong it's life too.
And, Weber has a nice line of meat seasonings that are pretty tasty.

I quit this game right around Christmas cause i got bored with it. I've started getting that tingle again. Is it worth resubbing my account? I've got a 70 hunter that i could dust off and a 61 lock in Outland. Is the new content worth restarting or is it just going to be more of the same?

When i was a PC user, iTunes was the bain of my existence, but now that I'm a Mac user, it's the bain of my existence.
Even when the app is perfectly incorporated into the OS, it still has stupid little quirks like you've discovered Warhawk. Aside from that app, I love the Mac. It's so much less complicated than anything MS produces.
For future use, try Amazon's MP3 downloads. They come as MP3 and play on every kind of player, iPod and non-Mac players. Granted, their library isn't as extensive, but it's easy to manage and doesn't require any monthly fees the way other services do.

if you burn the song to disk while in itunes, it will then prompt you to import it. do that and the file should be burnable as a mp3 file. it's an option within the burning tab in itunes. PITA, but it works. or, you can just do a search on free apps that do it for you, but they're usually limited to a time frame (free for 30 days) or have limited functionality until you pay for it.
