So how come Dallas at 12-4 has to play a WC game, and Seattle at 12-4 doesn't, even though Dallas beat Seattle during the regular season?

I think if Seattle and Dallas were the only two teams with 12-4 records Dallas would get the bye, but since Green Bay also is 12-4 and Seattle beat Green Bay (Cutter) the next tie-breaker is division record. I could be wrong though, and like I said before, I'm not looking it up 'cause I'm lazy.

Blue, I see 17 people in the pool. Click on the "Results" header.

Btw I have the Panthers, Steelers, Bengals, and Cowboys - I just mention that as a helpful guide of who not to pick seeing as my prognostication skills have been terrible this year.

Oh, and going with Reagle's "Blue For a Day" prize scheme, I'd keep everything the same (including all the news stories because I'm lazy) but I'd rename "Out of the Blue" to "The Sausage Fest".

Congrats Verno, well done. I spent most of the year proving how much of a fluke last year was (although I did win my fantasy league this year).

And to LastPlace, that was truly impressive. Just for fun I matched almost all of my picks against the spread with what the "sharps" (pro gamblers) were going with and I would have lost my ass.

Not sure, but if you look at google, there are a LOT of people that are upset that games don't allow for config of RMB as forward.....

I was one of those upset people when it came to GTA IV. They made the RMB the non-changeable control for hanging up the cell phone. I had to start using the thumb button to go forward (which actually works quite well).

Aesthetics huh? I guess that leaves out my brilliant baling wire, duct tape, and zip ties idea.

What's the deal with all this ice bucket water drops I've been seeing...like...everywhere?

It's for raising money (I'm not sure how) to fight ALS, aka Lou Gehrig's disease.

3. Re: GRID Autosport Street Discipline Trailer Jun 18, 2014, 00:28 WarPig

I thought Grid 1 was a great balance between sim and arcade with the different cars having a lot of distinct character without being so technical that it lost its sense of fun.

Grid 2 on the other hand, while still fairly fun, was way too arcade like. Many races had to be run like a demolition derby to even have a chance of making up, say, ten spots in two laps through the slow "blocker" cars, and could be very frustrating.

Hopefully they dial the balance back to the original Grid for this one.

It's called football and you know it.

It's about time that other english speaking countries get over the fact that North America has a different name for what they call "football". Get the fuck over it! Let's look at cars... what we call a "trunk" you call a "boot", what we call a "hood" you call a "bonnet". Who cares? We sure don't. Hell, I don't know why "American" football is even called football, it just is (and it's awesome ).

So, for those of you who lack the coordination to catch and throw, play soccer! Play the hell out of it! Here in North American it's a great diversion for 11 year old girls.

The rest of us will enjoy the greatest game ever devised... FOOTBALL!!!!!!!

Aawww man, this sucks. Ramis was a huge part of a lot of my favorite comedies; Animal House, Cadyshack, Stripes, Ghostbusters, and of course, a Blues News staple, Groundhog Day. And I'm sure there are plenty more if I wanted to look it up on IMDB.

I mean really, are you fucking kidding me? Animal House? Caddyshack? Stripes? These are some of the most iconic and quotable movies of all time. This man deserved a lifetime Oscar or something didn't he? I was going to compose a post consisting of quotes from those movies but I simply don't have time.

"Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life, son!"
"Don't sell yourself short Judge, you're a tremendous slouch."
"Lighten up Francis."
"Yes, it's true, this man has no dick."
"Don't drive angry. Don't drive angry!"

I've been reading about the disease that killed him and it sounds really awful, so even though I'm not religious, I hope he's in a better place now.

Rest In Peace Harold.

You picked against them in the BTI league? (Thanks!)
No I didn't, the site automatically picks for you if you don't make picks yourself and I didn't make any picks after the regular season was over. (You're welcome!)

I'm old enough that I had a favorite team before the Seahawks even existed. I liked the Vikings because Tarkington was so fun to watch and watched them lose three Superbowls. We got the Seahawks in 1976 and I've watched pretty much every game since then and a good deal of it was really ugly.

It was all worth it!

A better question is how many Biebers could you rape if you were in prison?

Some of those are kinda weird/uncomfortable (I'm looking at you, Top Gun), but The Graduate made me giggle.

I'm with you, he seems to be focusing mostly on romantic images... not that there's anything wrong with it. Wait, what am I saying, there is something wrong with it!

The way i saw it and the dozen replays, there was no whistle, guy got hit and immediately went out of bounds and didnt maintain possession. Maybe if he was walked back even a yard then i'd believe the refs on that one.

I thought that if Bernard's fumble was a valid possession (catch-step-step-swat/fumble) then this should have been a possession since he got three or four steps down before going out of bounds.

Congrats to WarPig - he received Grid2 for his trophy.

Thanks Batman. It was getting so late that I was going to wait until tomorrow to let everyone know of your generosity.

AGAIN - I really didn't want or expect anything for winning the football picks contest and made sure that Batman understood that I was just making a joke about winning anything. Last night when Batman said I needed to put something in my Steam wishlist there was no way I was going to do that, and I didn't. It did make me think about it though, and the only game that I really did want was Grid2. So today I get home from work and lo-and-behold there it was!

Thanks again Bats, you shouldn't have... but I'm glad you did!
