| I have a real love/hate relationship with this game, but enjoy special events in MMO. Hopefully you can earn some costumes/deco with an event or task rather than trading or buying in the TP. |

No, he's saying that it's EAs fault because they were the ones who started the whole 'Every game must have multiplayer' BS when no one ever wanted it. This is mainly why I hate the internet. The fact that you have to explain things to these drooling teenage nitwits is depressing.
Either a lot of inbreeding is going on or gaming is attracting the lowest common denominator. So true! |

And great decision--more should do the same, putting the energy into great SP play and content instead. |

Both my wife and I about a week ago received emails from ArenaNet saying we requested email changes for our Guild Wars 2 accounts, even though neither one of us has the game. Quite strange. Ya, I get alot of "BLIZZARD" emails about Dialblo 3 and WoW about my accounts and their info. Never owned or played the games.
And how about naming the 'fan site' so that ALL can avoid it. |

All I want to do is play a game I bought without hassle. I have a few games that impose steam validation on me. Once the validation is done, I feel steam and its intrusion should be finished also. However when I buy a day 1 game and play it for many many months--then it is gone from, I cant play, Then I contact support and have to send in a digital pic of my retail code from the manual with Steams' support ticket number printed in ink on the original manual. (and wait days to play again)It is nothing more than intusive DRM that gets in the way of legitimate purchases. I want nothing to do with any extra crap that they want to push on me. I just want to play the games that I paid for and steam DRM just gets in the way. |

| I've been able to disable and/or hide everything that Facebook throws at me (ads, sponsered/targeted news etc) using Firefox and addons. That alone makes FF the choice for me. |

MajorD wrote on Jul 31, 2012, 10:52: The game is multiplatform(consoles+PC) and is based on Bethesda technology. Never a good sign; the franchise is doomed now. So sad.
Agree, multi is just not good. Case in point, Skyrim. Don't get me wrong I have put many hrs in the game, but some of the shortcomings and problems with game are direct result of multi-platform design. Not to mention Xbox only dlc. And let's hope they remember that it's a FPS! As to the franchise being ruined-it is skewed that way now but I'll wait and see as the release date come closer. |

BF3 is the most complex shooter I've seen in years. This is a deep, open world game and every feature in it works great. There are no invisible walls (except to delimit the map...), and everything can happen. It's also the most fun I've had in a shooter since... the first farcry I guess! So, yeah, they don't suck. If you're not satisfied with this, maybe you don't like shooters.
I also haven't seen a cheater in a PB server yet. Or maybe he was hiding it really well? But yeah, I do have one massive game breaking bug.
Looks like 'Ian' (or some other Dice employee) created an account here! |

Read the info, view the trailer----this takes place well before the timeframe in the show. But it's really time for mom to be infected and written out. |

nofb wrote on Jul 7, 2012, 08:51: Err. That title is already out, and that's from Telltale. Not the same, Telltale is a cartooninsh, episodic, point and click--miles away from a good FPS game. (Interactivity does take a purposeful backseat to storytelling. TWD operates more as an interactive TV episode than a conventional adventure game. You never run from zombies in real-time. Puzzle solutions are transparent. Interstitial scenes take control away from you entirely.)
TR's version looks like it will be better in everyway by a longshot |

PC version has at least an other month because MS flexes its' muscle ($$$$$$$$) and Bethesda caves and turns it's back on the other platforms. You can get the 1.6 PC patch right now on Steam by opting into the beta. Thanks,I know. I choose to opt out of the beta. |

Not communist, not dictators---OMG a democracy that actually helps the consumer. U.S. could actually learn a thing or two. I blame home schooling! |

Apparently Carmack has hobbled together a head mounted display and added code for it to D3. Well, after his RAGE fiasco(PC), he had to do something to get some rep back. Doom with 2012 graphics might be nice if it actually comes out for the PC. |
