Why preload--if it's anything like Dragon Age?--all the digital players will have to wait for a couple of days after the official release to play. Those that have the hard copy, will get to play right away.
IF it's the same. Anyone know for sure?

Actually the word UBI is now interchangable with the word Shit.
I ate chile and UBI'd my pants. Your breath smiles like UBI. ETC
UBI makes UBI games consistently now. They turn gold into UBI. and on and on.
They really don't have much of a rep anymore, except a bad one. |

From Bioware DA tech areas "You DO NOT have to be connected to the internet to play Dragon Age: Origins or to use the DLC (once it is installed. You do need to be connected to download it, obviously). If a game owner logs in with an account that owns the DLC, and has a proper DA cd key in your registry you shouldn’t have to re-authenticate.
If the DLC is not working correctly for you, please check to see if your cd key is registered with the following.
To check if the user has a proper cd key installed: 1) Run the DA config utility 2) If the left bar navigate to the ‘Game’ section 3) Look at the Product Keys section which is in the lower half of the window. 4) The users DA cd key should be listed here
If there is no CD key listed this is the reason you are being forced to authenticate every time. Assuming you installed via dvd, on the installation disk in the data folder is ‘Dragon Age_code.exe’ which you can run an re-enter their cd key.
Give that a shot and see if it helps."
BTW--those that have console or bought online(steam D2D etc)-- come back from the darkside and you won't have these problems

| There is a fix, by editing one of the game xml files and changing the DLC info on one line (on each dlc activated) from 1 to 0 or the other way around (can't remember) and it will work off line. I'll fine the link and post it. |

I don't get you PC gamers. You cry and whine about not having a true successor to BF2, and when it finally comes along you continue to bitch and moan.
If it has a console version--the game is F_U_C_K_E_D Simple as that, the PC Version is ruined for the console simpletons. AA3 June 17th--the hell with E.A.

I'll get them now (if all 3 are included). And I agree that Bethesda woke up - the sales they lost because of GFWL must have been incredible. Hopefully all the other makers will realise the same and avoid it for any PC game.
And besides those bit guys have them too.

*thudthudthud*
That's the sound of my head hitting my desk.
You can't have it two ways; you can't bitch about same-time releases with pc versions not having propper pc-UI AND bitch about a game being released later where the dev SPECIFICALLY says they're doing it to include a proper pc UI.
I am glad that these devs have decided the PC does indeed need it's own UI (something which is content independant anyway), and it probably meanss they're doing pc-centric gameplay testing too (goodbye console autoaim etc).
They're actually doing a pc pass...and people complain?
W.T.F.. You really don't get it--THEY ARE DAZZLING YOU WITH BS and YOU HAPPY WITH IT--WAKE UP!!!! |

So why couldn't they develop the PC version first with all their resources, then split the team up to make the various console versions???
Nope,it's another EA kick in the teeth to PC gamers, talking down to them ("less informed fans") only shows how they are putting a spin on things. How many times have we heard--it's going to special for the PC--and then months later when it's released, PORT is written all over it!!! |

Hobbit trilogy? Oh come the fuck on! The book is barely 300 pages! This is the sort of studio greed that ruins these properties. Damn right--no need for them to do this other than their quest for the buck. I'll be dead before the 3rd installment let alone Ian! |
