Gas grill on the deck??? Been doing it for more years than I can remember. Never a problem or considered it risk. The only thing to watch out for (more for the old models that new ones) is unless there is a good system to catch the drips your deck will get stained. But there are lots of options such as mats that are made to go under the BBQ to protect your deck. I wouldn't use a charcoal/wood BBQ/smoker on my deck though.

BTW--if that propane cylinder blows, it won't really matter where it is in the yard.
You should convince her to convert it to natural gas if you have it at your place.

Been wanting to try this for a while but it plays like crap, mouse movement and contol are garbage. Not impressed.
I just installed the free verion from GOG and if it is patched, I don't have a clue as to what mods to improve mouse control and graphics since the forums there are so out of date.

News Comments > Guild Wars 2 Beta FAQ
11. Re: Guild Wars 2 Beta FAQ Feb 23, 2012, 16:09 Marvin T. Martian

Still worried about the ambiguous reply to the SP--yes you can play and complete the game solo, but you must to join others to complete some stuff. HUH???

"Will Guild Wars 2 be solo-able?

Yes. You will be able to advance your character to the maximum level without ever joining a group if you so desire. Most content will be designed in a solo-friendly way, though often with mechanisms for scaling up in difficulty when more players are involved. This will give players the option to experience the game however they prefer.

At the same time, it is important for an MMO community to join together to overcome challenges. Guild Wars 2 will feature challenges that require players to join forces."

Never finished Guild Wars--quite bluntly--I hate, HATE--that I can't finish quest as an SP---they need to fix the game so that quest difficulty is determined by SP or if you are play as part of an MP team. I couldn't proceed further because of the mandatory MP play.

That was "fixed" a long time ago, mainly with the addition of controllable heroes and, more recently, the ability to play with a full party of your own heroes– no NPC henchmen or live players needed.

I picked up GW again last year after not playing for a while and have since finished the main campaign, Factions, Nightfall, and Eye of the North all without ever joining a single MP group. Parts (like the EotN dungeons) can be frustrating playing by yourself, but grouping with other players is by no means mandatory.

Good to know, I never went back to it after any 'fixes' and wasn't aware of them. Thanks for the info!!!!

Nah, BF3 is just a pretty run shoot and die game--nothing to compare with the BF games that proceeded it. They are so desperate to get people to play BF3 they are giving it away--lol. And I actually played and owned the others, but after playing the alpha and beta I knew I wouldn't buy it.

Oh dear lord, an in-game shop with paid content. Another great PC dev gets corrupted.

You say that as if UbiSoft wasn't already corrupted. They're so far beyond corruption now, they're practically the root of evil.

ASeven's talking about the developer, Related Designs, not the publisher. Aside from the annoying disappearing multiplayer in Anno 1503, this was a great series and by all accounts, this one is excellent too.

Ah, misread it then, my apologies. Are they under contract or something? If the game are that good (personally I never gave them a shot specifically because of Ubi), and the ire against Ubi from the community seems great enough, it seems that if they could switch publishers it would be to their benefit.

Yep you got that right---gotta stay away from UBI, simple as that.

Consoles rule at BAFTA! Batman for the PC was a mess and in no way is it GOTY material on that platform. Ditto for BF3.

Remember this is UBI--you have been warned by many, if you buy it, don't expect to play it and don't complain about the game. You deserve what you get if you give even one cent to UBI.

Maybe the scotch talking, but what the heck.
I stopped buying any UBI product years ago. Anyone who buys a UBI product is obviously learning disabled!! or just a masocist.
Even if you get a UBI game bundled with some hardware, throw in the garbage or give to your worst enemy. I think the second option is best, your garbage bin would throw the game back in your face.

1st BF game I ever skipped buying, and don't regret it for a second after playing the alpha and beta. Everytime some news is released about the game, it only confirms just how right I was.

There's a purely awesome quote on one of the screenshots on that site.

"The People have risen up against the COD!"

How dare they oppose our aquatic overlords!?

That would be Call Of Duty (and every single scripted consolitus infected game out there including BF3)---nothing to do with fish!

As I have already said many times--UBI should stop making PC games--just get out of the PC market. They have ruined every single PC franchise that they have touched, regardless of thier DRM.

People that continue to buy UBI products really need to get help from a mental health specialist.
