And others are not
quite as excited.Completed both 1 and 2 story lines and map completion in a couple of hrs. Spent little more time doing events and haven't returned to Dry Top since.

Just a suggestion. Check all your fans and blow them out.
I keep all my fans clean but I missed cleaning out my water coolers rad. That was the culprit in my case.
I was experiencing similar problems(looks like sleep mode but it's not--keyboard does nothing/ forced reboots etc). All gone now. I can't believe I missed cleaning the rad.

They will learn--BF series Dead--no point to develop them or to purchase. Dice destroyed the game a long time ago

Agreed, worthless trailer, if you want to make a pitch to sell your game, you had better have a trailer worth showing off that shows actual game play.

Iím less then thrilled about an RPG game like this that has around 5 hours of game play. RPG games in general will usually give you 15 plus hours. This must be a really small game.

Edit: Okay, I found an actualy game play trailer. not sure why they are not using this one. The game play looks ok, but not great.

Thanks for the link!
And has the 5hrs mentioned and removed been confirmed?

BTW given the price and it's indie, maybe the 5hrs is accurate. 10% off at steam

So far the reviews have been unexpectedly and surprisingly high.
But I mean they did focus on single player so who knows. Maybe it actually is a decent game.

A good single player is exactly what alot of people want. As soon as AMD/Nvidia update their drivers, will be picking this up.

I have been playing this game from release and this feature pack, although ambitious, has made too much of a negative impact of the game.Through all the devs positive double speak, it will have a negative impact on many. It's a game breaker for many.

Your post is pretty unclear - what exactly is "negative" and a "game breaker" with this release?

And, since it came out this morning, how have you had time to form this opinion?

Actually it came out last night and I played well into the early morning hrs over all my characters. The patch nerfed builds, trait system, buffed bosses, EU is complaining about multi languages in chat, where before they had seprate servers before, all changes point to make a point of improving gem store purchases and gold sinks, it goes on and on. Just go to the forums and read. There really is so much that is negative about the patch being echo'd on the forums and of course it is being ignored, deleted, and infracted. It's not going over well.

Ditto, just hope they don't use Civ V as the model. I would have like to see some actual game footage/interface.

MS did the same thing for a 'free' month of Skype. They needed a card/paypal to activate the free trial and then they gave the dollar back to your account. Then at the end of the trial period--automatic renewal at full price. I called and got my money back.
It's called backward billing. Not saying ESO is doing this--just a heads up.

Do movie theaters let you watch movies for free?
Do restaurants let you eat for free?

Welcome To The Real World.

You mean the real world where there are better MMO's than ESO and which don't have a monthly fee attached?

This ESO MMO is as generic as they come - there is simply no justification for the monthly fee in THIS CASE considering their competition.

Give it time, i'm sure they too will realise this.

Glad you are enjoying it though! Half a dozen beta's were more than enough for me.

Yea, says you. Ill take a monthly sub any day of a free to play model. the F2P model nickel and dimes you to death for almost anything you need or what to do In the game.

And since when has a monthly sub now become bad?

Because it has a pay 2 win store as well as a sub.
