Why stop there? First the killable children mod, then the naked killable children mod. Then the mod where you own a shack in the woods with a dungeon area populated solely with naked killable children.
Then a mod where the townsfolk learn of your evil deeds and pitchfork and torch your ass, en masse. |

I'm sure this is one of the many reasons Bethesda is not willing to make an Elder Scrolls MMO: they don't want the dicks to ruin the experience for the rest of us.
I meant NPC adventurers rather than other players. Yes I can just imagine the joy I would get seeing dozens of ADD lunatics charging everywhere screaming "Me first!", and trampling all over the flora and fauna |

I blocked it from going online and was able to set up an account name anyway. It said something like unable to connect to server. I'm able to play the game, quit, and resume where I left off no probs.
As for the game, it's very enjoyable!

Good way to get your Thief fix before Thief 4 (or Thi4f, if the teaser logo is final). Hell, the mod may end up being better than the official sequel.
The Dark Mod is very good. I think it's a lot closer to Thief than this sequel will probably be, despite the names being changed to protect the innocent
My biggest complaint about it is that there is no radiosity in the lighting, making it look quite plain and flat at times, especially indoors. The harsh doom3 shadows are a bit of a pain too. Still, I think within a year or two the doom3 source will be available and those things will hopefully be altered for the better. |

I'm not a fan of multiplayer, so I'd like to see a fleshed out singleplayer with a story, npcs to interact with and missions.
I did spend a few hours on the alpha some months ago, and once I'd dodged some zombies and set myself up a nice hobbit hole, made a shiny gem sword and stuff, I kind of lost interest. I know this might be due to lack of imagination on my part, but unless I am given an objective to work towards I soon get bored of building random stuff.
I be surprised if the single player is changed that much, though. I mean the game is already a big hit, mostly due to the multiplayer, I don't see what motivation there would be to expand on it. |

I only lost the bald chick probably due to my bad ass commandering techniques. But I think the rest of the crew got turned to mush. Serves them right, one dialogue line having expendable motherfuckers.
What mean expendable?
