spoken like a true child of the instant gratification generation. how about you take a moment out of your clearly beligerant playstyle and read up on how the game actually works. or move on to something like wow where you can leroy jenkins everything without thought of the consequences. not that i have any stake in the matter, but god forbid dev's listen to such stupid comments one day and ruin a perfectly good game.

Damn, easy dude, didn't mean to hurt your feelings by saying what I don't like about it. I'm almost 40 as well, so I don't think "child" applies. I can't stand wow either.

Artillery literally ruins this game. Instead of having fun tank battles where everyone is roaming around shooting, everyone has to play the waiting game at your base until you get tired enough of waiting to suicide your tank into an artillery barrage. Remove the artillery and it's a great game.

News Comments > EVE Online: Incursion Launches
27. Re: EVE Online: Incursion Launches Nov 30, 2010, 21:11 Sugarman

I have a blast playing eve. You have to get into a corp preferably a 0.0 space corp. The larger corps or alliances are better, they reimburse your ship losses and you actually get to partake in the large fights "500 or more people in one system", which is insane fun. Getting into a corp is where you get help understanding the game and it makes it much easier. Eve doesn't have a learning curve it's a learning cliff, but once you put the time in to figure it out it's fun to play.

Do we get to spread fear and keep our people in the dark ages, ridicule those with new ideas or new ways of thought. Oh yea, and can we mass murder other cultures because their version of god is wrong... lol
If so, I'm in.

At the company I used to work for we blocked facebook at first but then the powers that be decided to make pages on facebook dedicated to the company as a way of advertisement, everyone was pretty happy when I opened up facebook on the content filters, although we did block the facebook games, they weren't very happy about that.

Also at these theoretical high speeds if said undetectable matter had a gravitational effect on normal detectable matter would it's high velocity explain the ever speeding up "expansion" of the universe.

Upon further theoretical "crazy" thinking, if said matter were able to travel backward in time if time was relevant to the singularity as to a normal observer the matter pulled towards a black hole could essentially travel backwards in time to a time before the singularity existed at faster than light speeds which would make it undetectable by normal means aka dark matter. I'm sure all this has already been proven wrong tens of times but it sure would be cool.

1. Naked Singularity Feb 14, 2009, 15:53 Sugarman

What happens once matter is pulled towards the singularity at ever increasing speeds the matter would appear to slow down to us as time passes more slowly for a fast moving object the closer to the speed of light it gets? Perhaps it's mass becomes infinite as it reaches light speed or some unknown phenomena allows it to pass beyond the speed of light therefore theoretically going back in time, where would this matter end up then? Depending on the speed it attains should define how far back in time it travels. Interesting at least, something to chew on.

You gotta get into a good corp to have real fun. Then it's like an entirely different game. I've never tried the militia warfare yet but I hear that's fun too. Running missions and mining do get boring as hell, and the learning curve is pretty steep for this game but pvp is where the fun is, engaging in fleet battles of 150+ on each side and using tactics to get the upper hand never gets dull.

Multiplayer is some seriously fun stuff once you stagger through installing all the bullshit they want you to have before being able to play.

I heard that Goonfleet was taking over their space so now they are fleeing to the USA "Empire". I heard one of their exec's say "We didn't want to be based in that country anyway", he then promptly walked away mumbling under his breath "there are no goons".

I'll just repost this from the other day as I'm lazy and this game sucks.

Normally I wouldn't complain. But I feel it's my duty to warn anyone even thinking of purchasing this game, I wanted to like it, but, well, it's just terrible. The graphics suck "geforce 260 & 1920x1200 only show how ugly it really is". This is garbage, how can they let this turd slip into the bowl of even moderately fun games out there. Put it this way, if I were at the bar and this game was a chick, no amount of beer would make me sleep with it, yep, it's that ugly, an I'm talking ugly down to the bone. Actually I'm not doing you justice by my mere rhetoric, no words can explain the catastrophic failure that this game is.

I'm having fun with it and I've yet to connect my wheel. It does look damn good, and something about running the other drivers off the road and smashing them all up while trying to keep your car drivable is just plain fun.

Yes, not only did this large bird flying overhead diminish any hopes of this tribe's hope to feast on the shiny metal humming beast, but it also stole their soul by mistake while taking this picture. Farewell uncontacted tribe, may you fling poo at each other while making grunting noises and feasting on insects while watching unbound female breasts give way to the forces of gravity. Oh, how I envy you!!

3. Re: No subject May 29, 2008, 12:09 Sugarman

Here is a cool song/video sung by one of our corp members "Suas" and the vid is made by another. http://ie.youtube.com/watch?v=Vfv1QtZDirY Just for reference, x'ing up is asking to be invited to an op "fleet", and POS is "player owned structure". Really is a fun game and actually involves thinking and strategy. Currently my favorite addiction. But, CCP really needs to fix the lag when large fleet battles occur, sometimes it would be quicker to start a fire and give off smoke signals for in game commands. Also, experience is done by training skills which take a certain amout of time, no matter how much you play you can only train so fast, which makes it good for those that have a life and can't be on all the time.

EDIT: I forgot the link

After logging in to compusabusiness.com I found an x1600xt 256 card for $69. Listed it as on backorder. I ordered 4 to see what would happen. The next day they shipped and I have them now. I also seen a x1900xt 256mb for $97, I ordered 4 of those after my batch of 1600's came in and to no suprise they are still on backorder. Looks like it was too good to be true.
