BEST of show was that jap kicking crap game? You have got to be kidding me! Did gamezone have credibility before this horrid pronouncement of theirs from E3?

I also like how the console guy's amazement of keyboard and mouse to control a FPS! Classic.

Can someone tell me - is there light in this game? Can you see in front of you? And, more importantly, did they get rid of using monster closets, or is that part of the Doom3 code?

Why? Starforce is still a horrific protection method.

How about game developers getting a new hobby? WW2 is getting to be such a cliche.

Did I read you correctly? Mafia 2 is on the drawing board!

Hopefully it will at least equal the brilliance of the first game.

THEY WANT TO MAKE MONEY AND MILK IT! This is just wonderful news. I'll bet they would like to sell 4 or 5 sequels to a game that has yet to be released.

Everyone will understand the logic or folly of his ways soon enough.

If the title were changed to War OF Terror to reflect the current ideological orientation of the US, then I would give this a go.

You will notice that in the War of Terror, the goal is to completely terrorize your opponent. Newspeak backfires.

Keep bashing Starforce and keep your pennies from any games using them - good advice. Besides completely cracking it, these are the two best strategies.

Securrom drivers have been removed after install and NOCD patch used instead. Unfortunately, at this time, the same cannot be done with Starforce, so it will be avoided at all costs.

For a couple bucks and chewing gum, I don't think so. The prize money is an insult.

WOW - ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS to fly to Russia?!?! Are they planning for their protection to be broken? Why not offer six gumballs and a can of coke.

Starforce games suck, and I refuse to buy anything using the protection. Shame, really, because it is used in some nice games. But I do not allow errant drivers to infect my system.

Consoles have a negative effect on PC development, especially titles that are co-developed for both platforms. Consoles are like the retarded kid who slows the whole class down.

You can only learn from the experience, hopefully educate others on your experiences, and everyone in the games industry gets stronger as a result.

-------------

OK, SO WHERE IS THE PART ABOUT EDUCATING OTHERS...??

--------------

I can't give details as to why

--------

GREAT! THANKS FOR EDUCATING EVERYONE! JACKASS

Whenever you mention the dirty word 'console' in reference to a PC title, either co-developed or ported to the PC, it sends up red flags and billboards of caution. The majority of PC titles are negatively affected by console development.

Damn the consoles! They are a real poop in the pants!
