The connotation that the word "jihad" has today can't be ignored, indeed how can it be missed? Then there's the horrible timing that Shnapple mentioned-
This one goes in the "what were they thinking?" category.

I'd agree this game is worth it at budget price. It is a fun slasher/shooter though it has flaws that keep it from being great. I say that after having played and liked the demo and knowing that it could have been great. But it's still 'good'.
But like everyone else said, didn't this come out for PC in March already? You sure this isn't Bloodrayne2 Blue?

Just once I'd like to read how someone - anyone is excited about a recent demo. They either suck or are just average. I'm not sure which is worse. I guess I have to come to terms with the realization that I'm just not a gamer anymore. I can't take this chinese water torture of wading through 10,000 forgettable games to find the one diamond.

Yes that is exactly what it means. Before Oni was released the devs said something similar. An exact quote from the FAQ at the time was "Oni is already playable over a LAN". Hell I think they even did an Oni mp demo at E3.
Then of course they yanked mp on it.

Saying there are more FPS's than MMORPG may be technically true, but you have to remember that a big chunk of the FPS's out there are total garbage.
So the ratio is about 50/50 once you allow for the garbage.

I've rented plenty of scratched dvd's. Kind of screws up the whole movie when you have to take it out and try to clean it just to finish the movie.
Then again vhs tapes get damaged too.

Xbox2, em does this mean that each unit will lose twice as much money as Xbox1?
The reason I don't like consoles is they suck resources away from the PC game industry. We see games that should have been PC get sucked into the black hole of console-dom (halo) or worse, we get a castrated abortion port-to-pc game thats obviously a port because of the crappy controls and blah graphics.

It was originally meant as plural. People just whored it into a singular usage over time and it looks like the dictionary publishers relented under the weight of the mass mis-usage and now wording like "plural, but commonly used as singular" appears in most dictionaries.
When I was learning wordperfect and Lotus 123 in DOS back in '91 or so, my teacher spent 20 minutes on day one telling us that "data" is plural. I thought maybe I walked in to English 101 by mistake.
Good thing it's not a pet peeve with me though *whew*
