No...just no! My system good - other systems bad. I don't know if you noticed, but you're not posting to xbox.com over here. This is a web site for PC gamers. Big-name game... offhanded dismissal by developer... I think we're allowed to be irked. |

Bats, I'm with you on criticizing people who live in flood plains and get flooded out every 3 years or so. They don't get my sympathy either. I mean how many times does your house need to have 3 ft or more of water in it before you realize it's not a good place to build a house? Well there are these things called jobs, you see, and since nobody has taken the initiative to build a The Fly teleporter apparatus people have to live in close proximity to these jobs.
Not to mention, you see, as North America was settled hundreds of years ago and via the eastern seaboard, many major population centers formed on the immediate coast. I'm sorry society isn't capable of simply uprooting hundreds of years of developed civilization to find a more suitable, modern geographical arrangement. |

That's because Pixar have actual, tangible talent. All they basically got buying Lucasfilm (besides IPs) was ILM, and ILM hasn't done anything in years that couldn't be done as well by anyone else.
And Star Wars simply isn't what it used to be anymore. We're all grown up and disinterested enough not to blindly throw money at the name, and kids now are too young for it (a movie like EpIII was NOT going to turn little kids into lifelong fans).
Buying Star Wars this late in the game is a risk, and the (relatively) low price reflects that. |

I haven't seen "Snow White and the Huntsman" but it looked promising (it's actually in the mail from Netflix at this moment). Movie has nothing to do with Disney. |

| I almost lost power in Ohio. Almost! During that freak spring storm a few years back power here was out for days so I was expecting similar results. |

| I watched one video at random from the web site and it was... awful, in a word. Just awful. A couple of guys clumsily running about attempting to strafe each other, colliding and falling over (while the camera jumps to third person for no reason and starts clipping through world geometry), and then doing it all over again. |

After San Andreas, GTA4 felt very constricted. Yeah when you put as much detail as they did you have to restrict the scope.
And I'd rather they stick with *not* having "RPG elements" or side quests that people seem concerned about. GTA is at its best when the developers get out of the way and let the player muck about. Riding around picking flowers ala RDR is not my idea of a good time. |

| GTA4 woulda been totally fine (engine/performance notwithstanding) had they not opted to shoehorn in a fucking cover system. |

| There's a world of difference between not liking something and not being able to see the appeal of something, chum. If you can't "see the appeal" of Minecraft you're fuckin blind, plain and simple. |
