Great, when every asshole on the internet is sporting a $1000 graphics card like in this demo, this will be awesome.

I have an MSI GTX 460. Cool and quiet. Branding doesn't matter so much to a graphics card since it's all pretty much just custom clocks and coolers.

It was certainly better than Chronicles of Amber has turned out to be. I'm gonna find whomever it was around here recommended it and give them a firm kick in the nuts.

ARPG is probably my number one genre, and Torchlight 2 just doesn't have a hook. The entire game is well put together, but nothing is fresh or interesting. It's a snoozefest.

It was 3x as entertaining as Far Cry at 1/3 the price. Big, dumb, stupid games are always more fun than their competitors, and at the end of the day I'll take the game that's more fun.

As far as Borderlands 2 I'm less concerned with the number of DLCs than the wildly disparate quality among them.

The easiest loot in Tiny Tina is from the eridium slots. The VERY FIRST time I played it I got a pearlescent RPG; the thing was basically a nuke for the entirety of the campaign. I also picked up an orange nade from a treant and a bee shield (!!!) from somewhere I can't recall.

Say what you will about Captain Scarlett, but at least that one showered you with unique loot throughout the DLC and gave you a proper treasure room after the end-boss.

I didn't get a single purple from the vault, and I got nothing but greens during the entire campaign. The "unique loot" was fucking terrible.

Finally getting around to playing them.

Tiny Tina's is pretty fantastic. Captain S is through-and-through horrible. Mister Torgue's is OK. After all the shit I heard about Hammerlock I likely won't touch that.

I played Escape From the Pit and it was very fun. Heavily influenced by Heroes of Might and Magic with a dash of the old Baldur's Gate.

News Comments > Team Fortress 2 Balance Changes
3. Re: Team Fortress 2 Balance Changes Jul 9, 2013, 20:48 PHJF

One of our goals as we continue to work on Team Fortress is to support a wide variety of hat styles. In order to achieve that, it's been vitally important that the hats in the game are fun not just to use, but to see other people use. We want players on both the winning and losing sides of an engagement to feel like their hat's style is being rewarded. In other words, when someone beats you, it's because they looked better, either through pure hat unboxing skill, or through their strategic choices in selecting their hats. Consequently, we are always reviewing both real world player sessions and player feedback to hunt down hats that aren't meeting this standard.

We'll be tweaking the stats on dozens of hats in this next update—but we thought you might find it interesting if we walked you through the decision-making process on a select few.

Hats.
