Which would allow you to install one Metal Gear Solid title and nothing else.
The whole installing games on consoles needs to go, period. BRD is fantastic for movies and absolutely terrible for games. |

Because MMOs subsist on virtual economies and as soon as people start exploiting the system trades start becoming based on SOJs, and the time and effort of Joe the Virtual Plumber are unfairly devalued.

| Well the sad fact is there aren't enough adult-focused games on any Nintendo since GCN to justify purchasing the consoles themselves. It's no loss to me giving the (extremely rare) odd Nintendo game that actually looks fun a go via an emulator. |

The dev is saying that if 3DS piracy is as bad as it supposedly was on DS that he'll quit making 3DS games.
I personally played the only ~5 or so really good DS games via no$gba and desmume. It's immensely fucking sad the only real Castlevania games are on handhelds, and the only decent jRPGS, too. |

The PS3 controller is much nicer, but you have to do a little fiddling to get games to recognize it as a 360 controller, sometimes.
I have two dual shock 3's but after concentrated research revealed the lack of progress in the matter I gave up. Having to buy VERY SPECIFIC bluetooth dongles, having to start windows in dev mode EVERY BOOT, and then the fiasco of the driver situation itself... just wasn't worth it. |

My Logi Cordless Rumblepad 2 is still in mint condition and sees use where appropriate. I haven't met a game x360ce doesn't work with.
If I were buying a pad now, though, I would definitely just bite the bullet and get a 360 pad. The rumblepad was only $30 way back when and now logi's comparable model is like $50. |

As you all probably know - I will buy it on console, then if it ever comes out on PC, I will buy on that too. I wish the would treat us better, but the larger base is the console. Lowest common denominator....
I dunno, AC3 runs like shit on my PS3. Not game-breakingly bad like Dark Souls, but low framerates in straight-up action games like sCreed and GTA are deal breakers. Red Dead at least avoided the issue altogether by being set in a barren desert. |

Well I saw dota2 came up on sale just now and clicked it and Steam says "you already own this" (though it wasn't in my library) so what the hell, I guess I'll see what all the fuss has been about.

OK apparently this is a "spectator only" client. I guess steam isn't wired for "free to play" games that aren't "free to play" (or games that have been in beta since the dawn of time).

| Maybe before having such a long sale Valve should have checked they had enough content for it. If I didn't buy Chivalry the past 20 times this week it's been on sale I probably won't buy it now. |
