I'd be totally surprised if Django won anything. Waltz for supporting actor wouldn't be out of line, but I still don't think he'll get it. Argo was such a typical Hollywood movie (cringe-worthy ending), and Lincoln was Oscar bait through and through, so I'm going with them.
Personally I'd go with Zero Dark, which I thought was a much better movie than Hurt Locker. The pacing probably put a lot of people off but overall it was just perfectly executed (no pun intended). |

Why pay $15 when I can pick it up for $7.50 or $5 within a few months?
Why pay anything for anything when in a hundred years the copyright will expire and it will enter public domain?
I don't know, I'm not a cheap fuck and I played 30 hours of Grimrock for $15. And it was fun. Seems pretty fucking fair to me. |

So I guess PS4 news is drowning out nvidia Titan news.
Apparently, it sucks.
GeForce GTX Titan in most scenarios will be a slower than the GTX 690, roughly 15% to 20%. Realistically again I should be comparing towards GTX 680. However I really can't as the GTX 690 and Titan will be priced roughly the same. Now though the price might be fair, it will definitely be too much to swallow for most of you. On average you'll see 20% less performance then a GTX 690 versus the very same pricetag.
Great job, nvidia! All for only $1000? |

I like how AMD is on the rocks and they will be totally controlling the both big consoles in both proc and gpu
How much money do you expect them to get out of this when we pretty well know the console itself will be sold at a loss? It's like hosting the olympics. |

| Well PS4 was just announced. Uses a new Dual Shock with a stupid light sensor on the back and a tiny little touchscreen, x86 processor with 8GB GDDR5, and features Gaikai streaming. |

If you just look at specs, TITAN is 2-3x stronger than GTX680. Twice the transistors, about 2.5x CUDA cores, 3x memory, 1.5x memory bandwidth, almost 200MHz lower base clock, twice the texture units, 384bit vs 256bit memory... and the thing is still 28nm old architecture, while requiring ~50W more juice.
Benchmarks should be interesting. |
