| Because it was a SimCity game. Had I a shred less composure I might have purchased it, myself. Maybe tomorrow I'll start up another round of 3K or 4... the SimCities which are actually functional. |

AoE2 is an absolute classic, bring it on I say! Except it's been hopelessly outpaced by more modern games. There's no two ways about it: Rise of Nations was a unilateral improvement on Age of Empires. |

...someone who can't follow the most basic and oft repeated rule of avoiding personal attacks here. Well that covers roughly 90% of current posters.
I blame rap music. Let's all mellow to some Armin Van Buuren. |

| That's because the combat in TR was always awful. It didn't become passable until Legend. Uncharted is a great series that sells like hotcakes, so if they want to ape it they can go ahead. It's not like they've been trying to hide the fact. |

Deathbishop wrote on Mar 3, 2013, 14:24: Once again, another week where it's proven that it's Bethesda's (Skyrim) world, we're just living in it.
Are we now in the 'one of the greatest of all Time RPG' discussion now (if it wasn't already)? On the same level (historically) as BGII and PlanetScape Torment? It's a great action RPG. The lore is tripe and the characters as dull and lifeless as ever. And considering how much Skyrim emphasized dragons, the dragons were about as awful as possible; the flight (and scripting in general) was completely inorganic, the attacks were ineffective and boring, and the sheer number of them just ruined any significance they should have had.
Sure was a fun dungeon crawler, though. |

Fantastic Tombr Raider game, with a pinch of Uncharted. Excuse me? Wasn't that "Fantastic Uncharted game, with a pinch of Tomb Raider"? |

Valve even said they raked in a ton of cash from micros for TF2. They said they made more in a few weeks with the game being free than they have total with the game in retail.... The difference is TF2 is a long-established game with a significant player base, Valve is a long-established developer with a positive community relationship, and Valve is reasonable enough to have mostly restricted rare items to cosmetics. They aren't (yet) issuing "season passes" for fucking products that aren't even IN STORES.
I love how every shitbag publishing head wants every game to be a service so developers can provide "an ongoing experience with fresh new content" for every which product, and then inevitably if a game breaks X sales it's "oh hey let's ship a sequel ASAP and abandoned last year's model". |

Well Half Elf will tell you I'm pretty vehemently opposed to DLC. Basically any DLC I have is from GOTY editions. I bought a couple of actual content packs for Sleeping Dogs seeing as how it was a great port and stellar game besides.
And mind you I'm talking about gen-you-ine content packs not a fucking reskinned map or zomg a new assault rifle. I'd shoot myself through the fucking head before paying cash money for content any retard from 4chan could have developed in the span of one evening. Maybe I just have a different opinion on this seeing as I was PC gaming (and modding) long before DLC was around. When a game warranted new content it was SUBSTANTIAL enough to be shipped in a box to retail. There was a RISK involved in putting out something offensive to consumer standards beyond simply pissing people off (looking at you, Capcom).
Borderlands DLC is about right as the standard I would use. Meaty content. I've played Dawnguard and it was pretty adequate as well. I haven't played them (because I have the original collector editions and so don't really feel like paying any more) but from all accounts FO3 and New Vegas had DLC done right. |

Yup my Razer Copperhead had the exact same problem after less than a year of heavy use. My Logi G5 has been rock steady for like five years.
I heard that Logis after the G5 had build quality issues... |

You were extremely crippled in FO3 without using VATS because VATS was so OP.
I really don't want it in Witcher. Witcher to Witcher 2 was a clear improvement on making combat more intense/enjoyable and this sounds like a backwards step. |
