Dammit you all beat me to it.

Anyways the subject of "its" is "life on other worlds". The worlds aren't vibrating, the life is. Poorly constructed sentence, though.

I refuse to use anything other than circumaural, especially for games. Sennheiser headsets have bigass, comfortable cups that I can wear all night without any discomfort (and at least with my older PC350 model I can swap out velvet and faux leather cup pads).

Sennheiser Sennheiser Sennheiser.

If you just want phones, HD 280 is $100. Their headsets are a lot more expensive, but with Sennheiser you get what you pay for.

Saw Birdman yesterday... it's the best movie I've seen in several years. Every aspect was just phenomenal.

When the perpetual grump endorses something, you take notice haha.

I watch and enjoy a lot of movies, but Birdman managed to plant a perpetual grin on my preternaturally pugnacious face. Honestly, the last movie to do that was probably There Will Be Blood (though for mostly different reasons).

Best Christmas movie is the one I don't watch because I'm always playing new video games.

Lifelike zombies and lots of detailed upgradable weapons.

I was always under the impression zombies were supposed to be lifelesslike.

Life without jalepeņo must be so mundane. I've been in a pretzel making phase lately and my clear favorite is pickled jalepeņo.

Damn Verno, I thought you said Hamilton had some juicy writing with disturbing themes? Pandora's Star was safe enough for my grandmother to read!

Considering it was Creston's holy grail, I found it overlong and unexciting. Too much time spent (literally) world building and not enough time spent developing characters or moving the plot.

I don't think the internet/small screen can pay his $12 million asking price for director.

Netflix probably would. And hell, Soderbergh just had a turn on Cinemax with The Knick.

The fact that you consider Wasteland 2 "simple" or "half-arsed" is downright absurd. There's nothing simple about it.

Except, you know, the combat, which is a majority of the game.

Just went on Amazon and it will be delivered to my house TONIGHT for a grand total of only 22 bucks! That's instant gratification on a scary level.

I hope you got Dark Arisen because it's standalone only and includes everything from the base game. The new dungeon has a boring layout but some great combat.

You have a point. A very good point. I don't understand why games don't copy Dragon's Dogma! (Probably because it is very hard to implement.) But Dragon's Dogma had the most sublime, most perfect combat ever. I'm not exaggerating. It has ruined all other RPG combat.

Hard to implement my ass, devs are just lazy. The class system in that game was so awesome, every class and hybrid was not only viable but distinct and fun to play.

Romance is taken to a new level, I think. The start of a romance isn't kicked off and ended with sex. It's getting official earlier, building up slowly. It starts with flirting, then holding hands, then affirmation, etc etc. Neither is sex the endgoal.

Am I the only one who finds this kind of...disturbing? Who the fuck holds hands before declaring their intentions? Kindergartners?

Right there with you. "Romance" in previous BioWare titles amounted to the fevered wet dreams of virgin fan fiction enthusiasts. And sitting around the camp fire flirting with exotic and scantily clad wizards and warriors when the world is in peril? Get off your stupid ass and go kill a dragon, you pervert.

Why the fuck would you exclude exclusives, the best games of every generation have been exclusives. Exclusivity from first party developers breeds competition (and I'm not talking about Microsoft's idea of exclusivity wherein they buy up and subsequently destroy promising studios and properties).
