Really have no impetus to play Old Blood. New Order was in the rarely obtained "just long enough" category in terms of duration. If anything, I feel like going back to Wolfenstein 2009.

Soapy orchestral score? Skyrim? Are you some kind of massive dolt? 90% of Skyrim's OST is ambient, exactly the kind of music suited to the game.

I'm not buying it, at least nowhere near release. After that shit they pulled with Skyrim mods? Dollars to donuts they have something nefarious on the horizon.

With your average MMO, you are at least progressing toward raids and gaining new abilities and whatnot as you level, and unlocking new areas to explore filled with new enemies. Elite has none of this. The only difference from one ship to the next ship (virtually the only progression to speak of) is a slightly faster turnaround on whatever pointless task you've set yourself on the rails of. One star system is totally indistinguishable from the next, filled with the same braindead AI pilots and ships from your very first foray into the cosmos. The game is a painful exercise in wheel spinning, a microcosm of the worst elements of modern game design.

Oh boy is it ever missing people. I encountered ONE genuine, act-uine player in dozens of hours cruising throughout Aesling Duval space, including her capitol fucking system, and that person promptly got the shit outta dodge when they noticed me, owing no doubt to the fact open pvp-type games attract griefers like shit attracts flies.

No.

Metal Gear Online Game Play Demo (TGS2015 Official)

MGO3 was delayed to October for console and, you guessed it, pushed all the way to January for PC.

They are probably interested in keeping system requirements to a minimum to facilitate sales in low-income regions. Your average westerner isn't going to be playing football games on his PC.

Noah's Ark is like a three minute story in the bible. Good luck getting a screenplay out of that.

I guess I'm one of those people who is entertained by most things and very rarely will I not like something.

And I am the polar opposite of this when it comes to entertainment mediums. I'd never earnestly call myself discerning because to each their own and all that, but I simply cannot watch many movies and nearly everything on TV. Like physically, I cannot bring myself to sit still and *endure* it. If everything on TV was akin to, say, virtually every show on ABC Family, I'd sooner stare at a floor tile indefinitely than turn on the television.

Which is one of many reasons I will die a bachelor.

You know what, I made my own peanut butter once. It tasted exactly like a jar of Jif, except mine was grainy and oily (because I don't have an industrial-strength food processor). And Jif has a whopping 3g of sugar per 2tbsp, which is roughly 8% of the sugar content of a can of Coke, and 6% of daily sodium. Just because a food isn't stocked in Heavily Bearded Hipster John's Coop doesn't mean it's going to give its consumers diabetes and heart disease.

For example, I often see jelly that is sold at a discount but when looking at the label, I notice that sugar is listed as the first ingredient.

Jelly is like one part sugar to one part fruit. That's like saying you saw a sweet tea with a ton of sugar in it.

1/2 cup of low fat cottage cheese has 14 gr of protein and about 80 calories.

1/2 cup of Greek yogurt has 12 gr of protein and about 70 calories.

1/2 cup tofu has 10 gr of protein and 90 calories.

Yeah but they also taste fucking awful. I pan seared and baked to finish a nice skirt steak last night, served with roasted garlic potatoes and carrots, ended with cinnamon chip scones I'd just made... now that's good eats. The scones in particular (the trick is shredded frozen butter).

Dirty Bomb is just shit, Insurgency was too obtuse (ie not fun) when I tried it like (LIKE EIGHT YEARS AGO), and Overwatch looks like a resounding "meh". TF2 made genuine strides to update stale shooter tropes and succeeded in a huge way, Overwatch looks entirely derivative by comparison.

Dude this thing is two years old. The initial run of this was to promote the GTX680, which that video is from. You'd know this if you took three seconds to research before opening your pie hole.

The fact of CSGOs popularity is depressing. Fifteen years of CS and the core game is still the best of its kind, with little to no mechanical improvement and the same old de_dust fests of yesteryear running in perpetuity. TF2 was fun for hundreds of hours but holy fuuuuuuccccckkkkkkkkkk I'd kill for a solid new shooter to consistently play.

News Comments > DARK SOULS III in April
12. Re: DARK SOULS III in April Sep 17, 2015, 20:17 PHJF

The environment is supposed to tell the story, something rarely done in video games. The bosses have little stories of their own (Artorias being the most obvious) which you can piece together from the odd bit of dialog, but Dark Souls is mostly about being steeped into the world itself in lieu of cutscenery and talking heads. It works.

That being said, the game is looking a little long in the tooth. Bloodborne was pretty samey in its own right and I played far less of it than Souls or Souls 2, but it varied enough to at least stay interesting. Something tells me Souls 3 isn't going to be received nearly as well.

I want to become completely vegeterian, but I need to get over my cheese addiction.

My sister tried this laughable "vegan mac and cheese" recipe wherein the cheese is replaced by a puree of cashews and nutritional yeast. It was the worst fucking thing on the planet. I can understand vegetarianism because furry animals and whatnot, but veganism can fuck right off. NON DAIRY mac and cheese w/ gluten-free blanched almond noodles??? Fuck RIGHT off.

It doesn't help that the (few) plot pushes in MGSV are ceaselessly diluted among a majority of pointless filler missions.

We're talking 50 total missions, MAYBE ten of which involve real plot development, maybe ten of which are just Subsistence or Stealth or Extreme redos of earlier missions, and the rest being filler. And then the game goes and ends without any resolution, anyways, because it's painfully clear that Konami said enough is enough get this game out the door NOW.

I'm not a hardcore MGS fan, but I still had some pretty moderate expectations going in about narrative development in MGSV and the game still under delivered in a big way. I'd be more upset about it if the game wasn't so fun.
