Yea just did the Steam deal and got Shadowgrounds for free..WOW what a fun game ,,like old school contra almost.Old school is for sure.I too wait for the next installment.As of 2 pm today Steam had not updated mine

I spent more money on my Video card then a Xbox 360 elite LOL,Why do I do it.So I dont get bitter when new KICK ass games come out and i cant play them on my Mom and dads Cheapo Emachine,Like some Whining asses on Bluesnews are stuck playing..Not aimed at you Joss

My 8800 GTS 640 sold for 300.00 buy now on Ebay within 2 hours....I have owned that card for 7 months..Now I get brand new 8800 GT 512 superclocked and renewed 90 step up thru Evga..And 35 dollars in my bank.WoW merry christmas J5
The Evga superclocked is at 650..not quite 700 but I know I can overclock it to 700 no probs...
I will step up tot he new 8800 GTS with 128 SP that is supposed to be 20% faster thtne the 8800 GTX ultra in beggining of Janurary for just 150.00 more...NICE!!!!! - the 35 115 So i used a Evga 8800 GTS 64o for 7 months..get a new (lil faster too) card for 35 less and in 3 months will get a cartd faster then the 8800 GTX Ultra for 115.00 more

Well to go against the grain....I will be buying this on DAY ONE....still having a blast with the demo.Love the "new coat of paint" and looking forward to 40+ maps that come with full retail.

J5 here with some late night gaming....Used the DX10 tweaks ..My goodness is this game beautiful WOW...runs ok at 1680 x 1050 for me ....Good stuff Have played the demo now 9 times thru ,and keep finding new ways to kick some arse.

To those who are saying there's such a big differance between DX9 and DX10 screenshots:
Duh, the DX9 shots linked in this news article are NOT ones with the dx9 tweaks enabled! One is DX9 high detail (not tweaked to very high), the other is dx10 very high detail They are two totally differant things that are linked in this story.

No, the brand new 8800 GT is faster than the 8800 GTS, NOT the top of the line 8800 GTX. The GTX still holds the crown... for now.

Keep in mind that its less than 2.5% of average gamers that have BOTH vista AND dx10 capable cards.
And its 8%, not 6% of average gamers that have vista. Most of the rest is XP.
The rest of the average gamers that have vista don't have dx10 capable cards. Likely they have thier motherboards built in crappy intel junk, or they still have thier ATI 9800 pro/geforce 6600 when they upgraded to vista, etc.

Ah but the new 8800 gts is going to faster then the GTX also only 300 .oo lol Gtx was onll worth it if ya bought it 8 monts ago.I myself bought my 8800 GTS 640 8 months ago so I dont feel ripped....plus mine over clocks to 640/2000 and is just as fast as the 8800gt

I have played thru this demo about 5 times.. using different techniques every time.Like some people said,it does polay like farcry,but there is alot of neat features and ways to play because of the suit.
Byt the last encounter I decided to take a boat and just start mowing down the outposts and to see tress fall and things blow up was ...beautiful.
I play demo at 1680x1050 All high at 2xAA and I must say this game is truly next gen looking.There is times it is so photo realistic I just stop and look around.Yes the game play is only an evolved farcry but for me that is good enough..I loved farcry.

What a wonderful line up (TF@ kicks Arse for multi team) UT3 will kick arse for Death match and Crysis for my Open sandbox ,do what I want and how I want to do it gameplay.
Now to sell my 8800 GTS and buy the new 8800 gts coming out (20% faster then the GTX)
