Steam integration on the PS3 was for Portal 2 only at this point. And it worked very well. Being able to play cross-platform with PC/Mac users is a huge plus. Something that Microsoft is refusing to do.

Having your Portal 2 achievements be updated on Steam, being able to chat and play with friends from Steam, while on PS3 is another nice bonus.

I'm glad you love your 360. I'm sure you'll be happy with the Kinect, cus that's about all they have done in the last year with the 360, and about all they have on the horizon.

Side note...you do realize that globally the PS3 is roughly only 3 million units behind the 360 at this point?

and the 360 life time is almost over...developers are just now really grasping the PS3 power. The PS4 will be a year after the new Xbox...and in that time, it will pass base units by an easy 2 million when all is said and done. I own BOTH units, but the PS3 is truly the best out..IMHO

Are they serious? It looks just like Mw2 and black ops...Who the F would buy this? Seriously.

It is becoming like Madden, A few extras each year..And fools pay full price for it LOL.

Companies like this survive because of the idiot consumers some of you call gamers.

As someone that KNOWS addiction, and not from TV shows or text books, Some of you have NO Idea how clueless you sound. For some that are addicted, It would be like going to the cancer ward and telling them "DONT HAVE CANCER, JUST STOP HAVING CANCER"

It has been proven that a true addicts brain works differently by design , both mental and physical differences in the brain. And yes, you could say just never start. Like most addicts, a beer at 17 or 18 was harmless for 98% of the population, but for that 2% with a true disorder, that triggered the brain in a life long dependency on a chemical.

And to be famous, and surrounded by mostly "hanging on" and " posse"
of losers living off your dime, not really caring about you, and having too much money, it is the worse combination for a diseased brain to be in. I feel sorry for her, if she had TRUE friends around her she would have had half a chance.

And to all you people talking Drugs this , drugs that. If Alcohol were invented Tomorrow , it would be classified worse then crack, heroin, weed and all the rest of them.

The thing I don't get is people bitching about the game because they clearly don't enjoy the concept of MMORPGs.

I love the idea of what MMOs could be and have been on rare occasion. WoW is just a boring level grind though. I don't understand why WoW = MMO anymore than Call of Duty = FPS.

You obviously are not playing the same WoW I am, No grind at all, plenty of fun quests... Sure if your some ADHD boy rushing to get to end to show off your epics..yea then at end it is grind, But I have played since Cata came out one toon, and I am level 65 today, having a blast doing a lot of fun quests and crafting and other fun stuff in game.

WoW is NO grind till ya hit end game!

R2-D2 was indeed a "droid" A repair droid "RD" model two "2"

But I believe "droid" is a word Lucas made up, because the Droid telephone is trademarked for the name under lucasarts.

Wow, I expected total crap from what I have heard online about this game. The Demo was actually a great time, Multi player only, but the GUNS have a good solid feel to them, and the graphics are great (imho)

Too bad we will never get tools for this game, otherwise if ONLINE were still strong I would easily play 30 for this game!

In my humble opinion, going from that tweet, and the stir in the PC gaming forums, I can see BF3, if done right, being the one game that truly gives a re-birth to PC exclusives. My hope, My dream. Even tho I have to admit, the PS3 version doesnt look that bad. I still am blown away at the state of console gaming now days, PS3 and Xbox 360 are some serious pieces of hardware, and we have yet to see the last gen of games on them, If anyone remembers the quality of PS1 games after developers got their hooks deep into the API of the hardware, PS1 first gen games look like crap comapred to the 4th gen PS1 games. i seriously see this with the PS3.

My money is on this. PS3 developers stick with PS3 hardware well into Xboxs (720)2nd Gen of their next console. That is truly where sony will see the payback of the PS3 developement and hardware.

Really getting tired of the rail shooter type gameplay fps' seem to be churning out to add more explosions in... anyone remember Hidden and Dangerous?

Buggy as sin but Hidden and Dangerous was one of the most inventive squad control games I've ever played. We had a great time LAN'ing it in the office too.

Loved that game! good stuff! Would love to see a H and D three with crysis engine and original designers, would pay 100 for that chit!

yes I remember the test level with the dragon....was awesome, more of a mini dragon thing, but at the time, seeing something in real 3d (non sprite) flying around pre-Open GL quake was really amazing, In fact Bluesnews was started because of Quake , if I remember right. Used to have a quake dude in logo!

this is first logo I remember at bluesnews

then this one

then of course the UNREAL logo

That may be true.

I would guess that EA is equating themselves with Blizzard in terms of their sales and marketing.

You can't buy WOW on steam, right? How often is the WOW client on sale?

Not saying it's going to work out for them, but I'm thinking that is the logic they are using.

Wow with 2 expansions were VERY cheao right before the release of Cata, Only in their store, 10 dollars 10 dollars and 15 dollars (wow, burning crusade,Lich King) So , yea Whole Whining about sales can stop now, it is an MMO. MMO go on sale all the time, Plus it is 50 bucks and ya get a free month fro crying out loud, if 50 is gonna hurt you so bad, time for another hobby.

A friend of mine (used to be a pro Quake gamer) uses a wireless mouse when he messes around at home. At tournaments he always insisted on cord based mice though for one simple reason.

Wi-Fi doesnt really have that much input lag, like someone said its barely noticable even in pro gaming. Where it fails though is in prolonged camping instances where there is a slight "packetloss". The mouse goes into a sort of standby mode if its not moved around for some time and that certainly is noticable when the action picks up again. Also random wifi interference, signal loss, etc. all of these things are possible (although rare) and in tournament situations when they happen its usually at the worst possible moment in critical situations.

Tournament ya, Teh best gaming mice are wired, Jeryyk lives in his moms basement, He is No pro player, he is just eleetist prick that thinks he knows everything about gaming. And by the way, true gaming mice the HAPPEN to be wirless, do not have the Shut down (camp) mode in which you speak of. As far as a console in 2011 made for Big screens made for couches, A wireless controller is just fucking fine. And tools here think its hard to recharge?First of all if you are console gaming more then 6 hours at a time, you need to re-evaluate your life. Second, Recharge while you sleep, easy!
