I used to enjoy his books until the moron started supporting Bush and war. You misspelled "Mormon". Or not?

I think it's a throwback to a bygone era where games were more complicated and less streamlined and straightforward. Maybe I've been playing too much TF2 but the complexity of the game confused me, and the tutorial only really showed the interface and the most basic gameplay mechanics, not to mention the distraction of the English mistakes. When I actually played it, I felt confused and intimidated by the amount of skills/spells, and that I couldn't hope to grasp the community-approved strategies in the 5 hour free time. Whether it was actually that way or not, I don't know, but that's the impression I got from it. I'm not very old (only 22) but I've been playing online shooters since Descent over Kali. I used to consider myself a hardcore gamer, but I guess I've grown out of it. I can see how this type of game would have appealed to me back in 1998 or even 2001, but I guess I've grown out of it.

That's why this is a stupid thing to do to themselves and to the industry as a whole. With any luck they'll fall into a sinkhole before they manage to fuck the rest of us. I agree, lawsuits over breaches of contract are totally at odds with the "it's all chill bra" attitude of the gaming industry. If this is allowed to continue, we will careen down a slippery slope to the point where developers can only wear their Slayer T-shirts on Casual Fridays!

Also a bit sad about the state of real physical social interaction in the world too. More and more people sinking valuable time into a "game" rather than real world skills. It would be one thing if it was at least a good game, but alas, it's a total waste of time and sets the bar pathetically low for innovation in MMOGs.

I've only played for a couple of minutes, but the amount of misspellings, poor grammar and improper punctuation use I encountered appalled me. They even misspelled "independent". That's not enough to turn me off of the game, but honestly, if they expect people to pay for this they need to do some proofreading.

Pidy da foo' who tries to market this kind of stuff to gamers. Kind of a cynical and jaded lot The crowd here at Blue's News is hardly representative of gamers at large. Saunter over to GameFAQs, Joystiq or Kotaku and it becomes apparent that most gamers are wide-eyed idiots.

FPS-Brain: It's got what gamers crave. It's got ELECTROLYTES.
Before all of you geniuses go making fun of this product, maybe you should read both of the testimonials? Oh yeah, because only a stupid person would ignore anecdotes given by the company that sells the product.

I haven't really kept tabs on this game, but with all the praise it and its predecessor have been getting around here I think I'll have to give this one a try.

THQ seems to have taken the opposite path of EA in terms of quality. Back in the day they pretty much churned out franchise tie-ins. I remember the days when "THQ" was synonymous with "crap".
