Blues has become an awful forum. I gotta stop reading this site.

"Generally assumed"? I've never seen anything that suggested Overwatch would be anything other than a retail product. What did I miss?

There is a "tip" on the load screen that explains that crouching does not affect accuracy.

I noticed somewhat counterintuitively that I'm actually more accurate shooting from the hip rather than using scope. Maybe its just my playstyle? *shrug*

Hm. Looks more like a mod than a new game. Cool concept, though.

Preplanning a sequel seems backwards only if you're looking at it as a movie rather than a business plan. The end game for 'blockbusters' isn't good box office sales, its the creation of a new franchise that is worth much more than just ticket receipts. (Plus, they can contract the actors in to future projects now before their value increases due to success) So, yes, franchise planning is way advanced of the single film release. Just look at what Disney is planning with Star Wars.

I recognize this player's movements well, and infact i know the (not really hidden) secret to that level of accuracy, it's not hard to figure out, people just don't understand the legnths to which pro players will take it...
Do tell.

A game from 2006 still being updated and supported, and which has a huge community even still in 2015 is something of a feat to be appreciated, I think.
Said it a bunch of times over the years, but the Orange Box was the best $30 I ever spent.

It wasn't sarcasm, but it wasn't terribly clear, either.

What I mean is, this is the first "It Came From E3" post. I miss past years when there would be dozens of those throughout the event.

41. Re: Guild Wars 2 Expansion Pricing Backlash Jun 19, 2015, 19:20 scratz

Fuckin' gamers will bitch about anything.

I've been ripping these developers off for years now. Can't count the hours of play, or the number of content updates I've received in exchangefor the $20 I spent on GW2.

I'm happy to buy their expansion for $50. They earned it. And if for some reason I decide I don't want to pay that much, I'll wait two months and pick it up on Amazon for $30.

Most of my entire original guild has spontaneously decided to get back together for this, even though we have all long ago moved on to real world lives. The nostalgia wave is huge.

Also, Tarren Mill v Southshore is simple genius, and worth the price of admission on its own. Can't wait.

News Comments > Titanfall Frontier's Edge DLC Announced
3. Re: Titanfall Frontier's Edge DLC Announced Jul 8, 2014, 15:56 scratz

I bought it a few weeks back on the EA summer sale, and I haven't noticed low population problems at all.

But a three map DLC is pretty goddamn weak. Feeling a bit ripped off on that front.

That said, the game mechanics are fantastic. But this game needs to be placed in a large open world. Even BF4 sized maps would be an improvement.

Verdict: Titanfall 2 should be amazing. Titanfall vanilla is worth $20.

My PS3 automatically detects my Plex server and plays any of that content.

Has this feature been removed in the PS4?

ps Chromecast is also a solid solution. The Plex client runs beautifully, even on uncompressed streams.

You would be a big fan of the government's proposed net neutrality bill where everybody has access to the same internet speed. Although it will be slow and expensive as hell with additional fees for high traffic websites like Amazon. It's easy and "fair" to make sure everybody has shit. We don't want hurt feelings now do we?
You have this backwards. Net Neutrality would *prevent* service providers for isolating and monitizing traffic, not cause it. As things stand today, it is only a matter of time before the large service providers decry anyone watching Netflix as a bandwidth "abuser', and come up with an additional 'premium' fee for anyone that wants to watch video over their existing Internet connection. This is what Net Neutrality is intended to mitigate.

I'm probably one of the customers they are 'targeting' with this promo, and it sounds great to me. I'll take as much advantage of these bonuses as I can.

ps Still love the game, all faults aside.

Isn't this the Aveline Grandpre story? Doesn't everyone who owns AC4 already own this?
Nope. I heard AC2 was great, but never got around to it. I got bored halfway though AC1, frankly, and why play a sequel to something I didn't enjoy enough to finish?

Liked the concept behind AC3, but heard bad things and again never got around to it, either.

Never even heard of Liberation, had to look up what the hell it is.

But AC4, yeah, I saw a preview gameplay demo and was floored, bought it the day it hit PC, and I've been deeply immersed ever since. Great game, lives up to its hype and then some.

So, no, not everyone that owns AC4 has played title.
